Quality assurance and performance testing

Quality assurance and performance testing service
Yes
How the quality assurance and performance testing works
Depending on the requirements of your organisation, Sota Consulting Group will undertake QA and performance testing as appropriate to the project. For any given program of work, our Statements of Work define the quality assurance and the associated acceptance criteria for the deliverables and outcomes. These are typically agreed with the customer first, depending on the nature of the scope. Performance testing is also defined as part of the Statement of Work, where we agree with the customer what the measures should be, how these are validated and the dependencies. We have a clear and well defined methodology for moving from this Ideation stage through proof of Concept/Pilot phases towards transition into active service. Each stage is Business Value mapped with our customers. This allows strong business cases to be built for submission to obtain funding approval from appropriate Authorities. This QA and performance testing approach allows rapid progress and helps de-risk the project overall. A staged method which makes sure that business value and end user experience always remain keystones, and at the core of collaborative focus.

Fighting climate change

Fighting climate change

Mixed Reality (MR) can serve climate with beneficial purpose when implemented in the right way, with thoughtful intention. MR can reduce inefficiencies and persuade an uplift in environmental care. Additionally, increased efficiency and reduced environmental impact are augmented by increased service effectiveness. For example, An NHS clinician can remote expert consult from any location. An architect located in London can remotely walk through a Newcastle building project without driving, training or flying there. This reduces cost, increases efficiency - primary motivators for adoption to reduce waste and harmful emissions. MR allows unnecessary processes to be stripped away, helping everyone reduce their environmental impact. A healthcare example, MR can eliminate wasteful ,physically exhausting patient visits to GPs and Acute Hospitals when they could be more easily and naturally treated at home. This also reduces travel impacts for Friends and Family support. For frontline workforce, rather than having multiple people physically present for a Hospital ward round, one person can pull all others required to remotely attend from anywhere, at any time. This helps reduce physical waste, and improves health, safety and wellbeing. As one specific Industry example of process improvement, in Spain, SEAT was able to reduce prototyping by 50% using MR. Less physical prototyping meant less physical waste and faster production - which helped cut out negatives associated with physical development. Applications and use cases for MR are virtually unlimited, and sit across spaces like business process optimisation, workforce development, Academia, Learning & Development, R&D and improved customer experience. In making your services run more effectively and efficiently, you can fight climate change. One AHSN worker we are engaged with promotes remote working at home as saving "12.8 tonnes C02 PA. Imagine what MR rolled out at pace and scale would do for your workers, and your Net Zero targets.
Covid-19 recovery

Covid-19 recovery

Mixed Reality has proven to be a game changer in Covid-19 strategic recovery planning. The ability to provide services like remote expert consultations, advice, guidance, and Simulated Training from any location to anywhere else has been shown to be invaluable in a number of ways. Using a cloud based service designed and seamlessly integrated into what you already use from your strategic partner, Microsoft, has allowed workforces to carry out tasks from home, or from a segregated environment simply, safely, securely, and effectively. For example, at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, remote ward rounds using Mixed Reality reduced the number of staff from 7 to 1, whilst improving speed by 30% , and reduced PPE needs by 50%. At the same time this also made both patients and workforce safer and less at risk of infection. The same sort of publicly available results have been published in other locations across the world, such as in Israel and US. Mount Sinai Hospital in New York now provide remote clinical service expertise to Uganda, based on lessons observed and learnt as a result of the impact of the pandemic. In UK the impact of the pandemic on Health & Social Care services is well understood, for example the increase in patient waiting lists and the effect on Hospital discharge rates. We are engaged with initiatives that use Mixed Reality and knit together Multi Disciplinary and Multi Agency Team working, using a "What You See Is What I See" view. This allows information, knowledge and insight to be safely shared, captured and recorded - to deliver improved outcomes. For example, with Home Assessment visits prior to Hospital discharge, for collaboration between Nurses, Clinicians and Social Workers, involving Facilities Management and other third parties. Use cases are almost endless, only limited by imagination.
Tackling economic inequality

Tackling economic inequality

Economic inequality can be easily reduced or resolved with use of Mixed Reality. Issues and challenges are well understood, such as the unequal distribution of income and opportunity between different groups in our society. People are often trapped in poverty and locations that allow them little chance to climb up the social ladder. Mixed Reality is a technology toolset that allows anyone to leverage their particular skills, knowledge, insight, and wisdom - from any location to any other. Whether working from home, from a safe location in a safe space, they can transfer their unique skills to wherever they might be most needed. For example, a citizen has acquired clinical, nursing or social work skills but is confined to a specific location or environment due to physical, mental, financial, physiological factors or the like. There is no good reason not to still leverage their specific skills for the benefit of our wider society, wherever and howsoever they may be most appropriately used. For example, a clinical worker who lives in Cumbria, and has lost the use of a limb, could still expertly guide a more inexperienced healthcare worker in London on how to perform a clinical procedure. Or train a future clinical worker in a specific scenario, at a University located on the other side of our country. A qualified plumber in Wigan can guide a Public Sector organisation through appropriate ways to mend an unusual, broken boiler, collaboratively working together in a London Housing Association property, with the citizen engaged where necessary - using a "What you see is what I see" new way of working. This helps reduce unnecessary call outs, improves first time fix rate, uplifts governance, recording and auditing - whilst, at same time, improving customer/citizen experience. Which all supports levelling up economic inequalities.
Equal opportunity

Equal opportunity

Equal opportunity is the goal for all of us, a policy of giving everyone the same opportunities for employment, pay, and promotion without discriminating against particular groups. Mixed Reality, using Microsoft cloud based services, can be rapidly tailored to fit specific service use case requirements, offering up potential for everyone to communicate, collaborate and work better together - from any location to any location - at any time. Empowered with information capture, more knowledge sharing, improved skillsets and new insight. Standard Microsoft Enterprise grade tool ready software sets, can be deployed simply, safely, securely, in a customer and workforce friendly way. Everyone can become empowered to work better together in a more equal, transparent, and fair way, from and to anywhere. We describe this as gaining a "What you see is what I see" viewpoint of the world. Which allows well informed decisions to be made more rapidly, utilising and leveraging any and all resources available to you. As you already use many front-end digital assets from Microsoft, these simple, standard software additions de-risk deployment and uplift immersive experiences, which can enable more equality for all - and are easily placed into your digital transformation roadmap. MR is a means for people to securely, safely share information, insight, and knowledge, more equally and quickly to point of need/care - using standards based toolsets, easily mapped into your existing process flows. Also, for more open marketplace opportunity in Public Sector space, standards based connectors available within Microsoft platform allow faster integration into existing digital assets like Electronic Health Records. This allows new innovative SME suppliers to more easily interoperate with your existing systems, from the front end not at the back end. So, MR helps open up Public Sector marketplace to new ways of working and learning in innovative, new ways.
Wellbeing

Wellbeing

Wellbeing is fundamental to good health. Mixed Reality offers up powerful and well proven ways to enhance wellbeing. Whilst uplifting equality, it can be used in a number of new ways to improve wellbeing. It reduce wasted time, effort, and cost - for both the citizen and frontline workers. It enables new ways of working and learning to be explored for all, which are tested, validated and proven to deliver substantial benefits and value. For example, reduce unnecessary travel or eliminate it, which will reduce or eliminate associated time, effort, stress and personal expense. In doing so, Mixed Reality can effect positive change in Health and Safety, which translates to stress and risk reduction. This is a multifactorial approach. People can be removed from being in physical harm's way. Things like infection control can be better contained. Exposure to potentially harmful moving objects like planes, trains, and automobiles can be reduced. For example, at roadside, in the air, at sea. In mental health space, it can be used to explore ways of treating mental health issues, like addictions or disorders. In the economic space, it can allow people to better leverage their skillsets using remote working. In the ethics space, emotional well being can be improved by uplifting existing processes to take better account of responsibilities, accountabilities, communications, and information (RACI modelling). At both citizen and service provider level, communities can become more strongly integrated. If you can better measure and monitor things, you are in a stronger position to improve and well manage them. From top Board level to frontline workforce, and all points between. Most importantly, this allows a more customer centric approach to be faster adopted - in line with models such as NHS "House of Care" model and National Highways "Home safe and well" initiative..
