When the contract ends, buyers can request extraction of their data, including configuration data, analytics exports, and any buyer-provided content used to support the service. Data is provided in commonly used, machine-readable formats where applicable.
Data extraction is supported through the service interface and, where required, assisted by Adaptive as part of the offboarding process. Access to the service is maintained for an agreed period to allow data export. Following confirmation that data has been successfully extracted, remaining service data is securely deleted in line with agreed retention policies and data protection requirements, including GDPR. - End-of-contract process
-
At the end of the contract, the service is offboarded in a structured and agreed manner. Buyers are given the opportunity to extract their data in line with the service’s data extraction process. Standard offboarding support, including access to the service for an agreed period to allow data export, is included within the contract price.
Once data extraction is complete and confirmed, service access is removed and remaining data is securely deleted in accordance with agreed retention policies and data protection requirements, including GDPR.

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
Adaptive aims to deliver high availability for the service, aligned to the underlying cloud infrastructure and agreed service scope. Where the service is hosted on third-party cloud platforms, availability is dependent on the hosting provider’s published service levels, typically targeting 99.9% uptime excluding planned maintenance.
Planned maintenance is scheduled in advance wherever possible and communicated to customers. Emergency maintenance may be required to address security or stability issues.
Availability commitments and service levels are defined contractually and may vary depending on deployment model, hosting environment, and support tier. Where availability targets are not met, remedies are handled in line with the agreed contract terms, which may include service credits or other appropriate remedies, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Adaptive continuously monitors service health and performance and works proactively to minimise disruption. Customers can raise incidents via the agreed support channels, with response and resolution managed according to the agreed support level and incident severity. - Approach to resilience
-
The service is designed for resilience through a combination of robust cloud infrastructure, proactive monitoring, and operational controls. Deployments are hosted on resilient cloud platforms that provide redundancy across multiple availability zones, supporting high availability and fault tolerance.
The service architecture supports automated backups, monitored system health, and rapid recovery from incidents. Components are designed to fail gracefully where possible, minimising user impact and enabling quick restoration of service.
Adaptive follows ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 aligned processes for risk management, incident response, and business continuity. Resilience planning forms part of our operational governance, including regular review of backup, recovery, and security controls.
Datacentre and infrastructure resilience is primarily provided by trusted third-party cloud providers, with detailed technical architecture and continuity arrangements available on request. Adaptive works closely with hosting partners to monitor performance, respond to incidents, and continuously improve service reliability. - Outage reporting
-
Service outages and incidents are reported through direct communication with customers rather than a public status dashboard. When an outage or service degradation is identified, affected customers are notified via email and/or the agreed support ticketing system, with regular updates provided until resolution.
Adaptive uses proactive monitoring and alerting to detect incidents early and trigger internal response processes. Support tickets are logged for all incidents, ensuring visibility, traceability, and clear communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
Where appropriate, customers receive post-incident reports outlining root cause, impact, resolution actions, and any preventative measures implemented. Reporting formats and communication channels can be agreed with customers as part of onboarding or ongoing service management.
For services hosted on third-party cloud platforms, relevant provider incident notifications may also be shared where they directly affect service availability.
