Aptem Assess - initial needs cognitive assessment

Aptem Assess is a cognitive assessment tool that helps providers effectively identify learners’ needs. It identifies whether a learner may have specific areas of cognitive challenge, enables more targeted intervention by differentiating those with and without signs of cognitive need, and eliminates reliance on learner self-identification or subjective tutor feedback.

  • Administration portal with detailed assessment results.
  • Grounded in the trusted Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory.
  • Secure access to raw data exports.
  • Self service learner invitations.
  • Adaptive assessment - takes an average of 15 minutes.
  • Customisable learner and tutor reports, and Power BI reporting.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Configurable groups reporting structures.
  • Works seamlessly across mobile, laptop and desktop devices.

Benefits

  • Meet apprenticeship screening requirements accurately and consistently across all learners.
  • Support Ofsted’s “no learner left behind” inspection framework.
  • Identify learner needs earlier for timely and personalised support.
  • Reduce attrition by detecting risks sooner and streamlining interventions.
  • Engage learners earlier with engaging, accessible assessments.
  • Improve pass rates by assessment data informing targeted teaching strategies.
  • Enable assessments anywhere on any device, supporting modern students’ accessibility.
  • Quickly manage assessment processes with intuitive administration tools.
  • Streamline onboarding by automating invitations, registrations, assessment communication workflows.
