The ISMS underpins the organisation’s information security risk management programme and ensures risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information are identified, assessed, and managed through defined policies, processes, and controls. In accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Annex A (control 5.1), Blackdot Solutions maintains a set of management-approved information security policies, supported by documented procedures and operational processes. These are communicated to all employees and, where relevant, external parties. The ISMS policies and processes cover key areas including information classification, access control, physical and environmental security, cloud and infrastructure security, secure software development, incident management, and regulatory compliance. To support effective implementation, Blackdot Solutions operates a formal information security awareness and training programme, including mandatory training for all staff and ongoing simulated phishing campaigns delivered via KnowBe4. Phishing simulations and awareness metrics are reviewed to assess user behaviour, reinforce secure practices, and drive continual improvement.
