Web chat accessibility testing
We have undertaken accessibility-focused testing of web and web chat journeys using assistive technologies to ensure inclusive and usable experiences.

This has included testing key user journeys using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom and reflow, and ensuring compatibility with common accessibility tools and settings.

For web chat specifically, testing has focused on message flow, focus management, notification behaviour, and ensuring chat content is announced correctly by assistive technologies.

Findings from this testing have been used to refine interaction patterns, improve clarity of messaging, and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA principles.

Where required by the contract, we are able to extend this approach to include structured testing sessions with assistive technology users as part of delivery.
