Scaling
- Independence of resources
- We work entirely within the customer’s tenant, using Microsoft’s built‑in platform isolation and our architecture to ensure one user’s demand cannot affect another. Microsoft provides strong tenant, compute, and storage isolation across Azure and Microsoft 365. In Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, we assign dedicated capacities and map workspaces to those capacities, preventing cross‑workspace contention. Elastic, fault‑tolerant scheduling further smooths spikes. In OneLake, workspace‑level boundaries and optional fine‑grained security avoid data‑plane interference. In Power Platform, separate environments, DLP policies, request limits, and Dataverse service‑protection throttling prevent high‑load flows from impacting others. This ensures consistently reliable performance for all users.

Data-in-transit protection
- Data protection between buyer and supplier networks
-
- TLS (version 1.2 or above)
- IPsec or TLS VPN gateway
- Legacy SSL and TLS (under version 1.2)
- Other
- Other protection between networks
- Beyond TLS 1.2 and IPsec/TLS VPN gateways, data in transit is protected through Microsoft’s multi‑layered security framework. All traffic entering Microsoft’s network passes through secure edge services that enforce encryption, certificate validation, threat detection, and anti‑spoofing controls. Network segmentation and isolation prevent lateral movement, while Microsoft’s global backbone keeps traffic on private, monitored infrastructure rather than the public internet. Strict identity and access controls ensure only authorised services exchange data, and telemetry across the platform enables continuous monitoring for anomalous or malicious activity. Together, these measures ensure data remains protected end‑to‑end between the buyer’s network and Microsoft’s cloud environment.
