Onboarding and offboarding
- Getting started
-
To help users get started, we provide a comprehensive onboarding package that includes both technical integration support and operational training. Each deployment begins with a discovery session to align the platform configuration with the organisation’s threat environment and mission objectives.
We offer online training sessions tailored to different user roles - analysts, administrators, and executive decision-makers. These sessions cover platform navigation, threat detection workflows, API usage, and countermeasure deployment. For enterprise and public sector clients, onsite training can also be arranged upon request.
Detailed user documentation is provided in both HTML and PDF formats, including step-by-step guides, threat model examples, and glossary references for disinformation techniques. In-platform tooltips and guided walkthroughs help new users understand core features and best practices from the outset.
A dedicated support team is available during onboarding to assist with data integration, dashboard customisation, and policy mapping. Advanced users may request technical workshops to configure APIs, data feeds, or automated reporting pipelines.
We also offer a knowledge base and regular analyst briefings to keep users informed of evolving threat trends and new platform capabilities. Our aim is to ensure users are fully operational within days, not weeks, with ongoing support available as needed. - Service documentation

- End-of-contract data extraction
-
At the end of the contract, users can extract their data through a secure and transparent process. All data, including historical intelligence records, user-generated annotations, alert logs, and API logs, can be exported in structured formats such as JSON, CSV or PDF. Data extraction is completed manually by an authorised operator. Users can initiate data export using built-in platform tools or, where enabled, through API endpoints for partial automation.
If needed, our support team can assist in generating full data backups or preparing bespoke exports to ensure compatibility with the buyer’s internal systems. Data extraction requests are fulfilled within agreed timeframes and follow information governance standards appropriate to the buyer’s sector.
After the extraction window, all buyer data is securely deleted in accordance with our data destruction policy, unless otherwise instructed. We aim to make offboarding smooth, compliant and fully auditable, with clear documentation provided at each step. - End-of-contract process
-
At the end of the contract, the service enters a defined offboarding phase. Users are notified in advance and given a notice period to access the platform, extract data, and complete any final actions. Included in the contract price is secure data export in standard formats, manual operator support for extraction, basic offboarding assistance, and the permanent deletion of data from our systems in accordance with UK data protection regulations. A closure summary report and help with access revocation are also included at no additional cost.
Additional costs may apply for extended access beyond the standard offboarding window, bespoke data formatting, third-party system migration, or optional services such as final intelligence briefings, tailored reports, or compliance audits. These can be arranged depending on the buyer’s operational needs.
Our aim is to provide a secure, clear and fully auditable offboarding process that protects the buyer’s data rights and supports a smooth transition. - Documentation accessibility standard

- What users can and can't do using the API
-
Users can set up the Cyb3r Operations platform via the API by generating secure access tokens and configuring data ingestion sources, including social media, encrypted messaging, and third-party threat feeds. The API allows users to automate narrative uploads, tag threat actors, and integrate with systems such as SIEMs, TIPs, or internal dashboards.
Users can make changes through the API to monitoring parameters, trigger risk assessments, retrieve structured intelligence, and feed insights into existing workflows. The API supports RESTful endpoints, JSON payloads, and HTTPS encryption for secure data exchange.
However, administrative tasks such as user role management, account provisioning, and access control configuration must be completed through the main web interface for security and audit reasons. API usage may also be rate-limited depending on deployment tier to maintain service stability. Advanced analytics modules, including predictive modelling, require separate activation and are not fully customisable through the API.
Comprehensive API documentation is provided, including authentication procedures, sample code, and integration guidance. Custom extensions and support for specific integration needs are available on request. - API documentation

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
The Cyb3r Operations platform is designed for high availability and operational resilience. While specific availability targets and response timelines are agreed contractually, we aim to maintain uninterrupted access to all core platform functions, including dashboards, alerting, and ingestion pipelines.
Support is available 24/7 for urgent issues, with response and resolution times structured by priority level. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance and scheduled to minimise user disruption.
Service performance and availability are monitored continuously, and incidents are tracked under a defined escalation process. If service disruptions occur due to issues within our control, remedies are considered on a case-by-case basis in line with the support agreement.
Clients with specific uptime or redundancy requirements may request tailored SLA terms at the point of contract. The platform architecture supports resilience and load balancing to reduce the likelihood of outages, and our team works closely with clients to ensure continuity and clear communications during any incidents. - Approach to resilience
- We follow current best practice for SaaS.
- Outage reporting
-
Our service reports outages through multiple channels to ensure timely communication with users. We provide email alerts to designated client contacts in the event of service disruption, including updates on issue status and estimated resolution times. For enterprise deployments, optional webhook-based alerts and service status APIs are available for integration with internal monitoring systems. Text message alerts are also available, depending on client preferences and operational requirements.
While we do not maintain a public dashboard for security reasons, a secure client portal is available for authorised users to view incident updates, planned maintenance schedules and historical availability metrics. Post-incident reports are shared following any major outage, detailing root cause, impact, and remediation steps.

- Configuration and change management standard
- Supplier-defined controls
- Configuration and change management approach
- All service components are clearly defined, documented, and tracked through their lifecycle using version-controlled configuration and infrastructure-as-code practices. Standardised deployments and baselines ensure consistency, with asset ownership assigned to technical roles. Changes follow a controlled process based on size and risk, with security impact assessments including access, exposure, and posture reviews. Higher-risk changes undergo enhanced scrutiny and testing. Emergency changes are permitted when necessary and reviewed retrospectively. Logs and audit trails are maintained for accountability. Regular reviews and lessons learned ensure configurations and changes align with best practice, supporting secure, reliable, and continuously improving platform operations.
- Vulnerability management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Vulnerability management approach
- We operate a structured vulnerability management process to identify, assess, and remediate risks effectively. Threats are identified through technical monitoring, vendor alerts, industry advisories, and operational insights. Vulnerabilities are prioritised based on risk, considering impact on confidentiality, integrity, availability, and external exposure. Critical patches are applied promptly, with standard updates delivered via regular maintenance. Where patching is delayed, mitigations are deployed. Patches are tested where necessary to maintain service stability. Threat intelligence is sourced from trusted providers, vendors, and internal monitoring. Activities are periodically reviewed, with lessons from incidents used to improve defences and ensure continuous alignment with evolving threats.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- We operate a protective monitoring capability to detect and respond to potential security incidents. Security-relevant events are logged across infrastructure, applications, and access controls. Automated alerts highlight unauthorised access attempts, abnormal behaviour, or unexpected changes. Monitoring focuses on high-impact components and exposed services. Suspicious events are triaged to assess severity and initiate containment if needed, such as revoking access or isolating systems. High-risk incidents are prioritised, with response actions typically initiated within hours. Logs are preserved to support investigation. Processes are regularly reviewed and refined based on incidents, evolving threats, and changes to service architecture to maintain effective security oversight.
- Incident management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Incident management approach
- We operate a structured incident management process with predefined procedures for common events, including security breaches, performance issues, and deployment failures. Incidents follow standard steps: triage, containment, investigation, resolution, and recovery. Users can report incidents via agreed support channels, with all reports logged, assessed, and tracked through resolution. Significant incidents include updates on impact, actions, and outcomes. Post-incident reports may be shared, covering root cause and corrective actions. All incidents are reviewed to identify improvements, with lessons integrated into related processes such as configuration, change, and vulnerability management. This ensures consistent, transparent, and evolving incident handling across the service.
