Differences between the mobile and desktop service
The Recorded Future mobile app provides a streamlined intelligence consumption and time-critical triage experience, whereas the desktop platform delivers the full analytical and operational suite.

The mobile app focuses on essential functions like receiving Priority Alerts, reading Insikt Group research, accessing Intelligence Cards™ with live risk scores, and limited AI querying. The desktop platform includes comprehensive search, custom query configuration, detailed visualisation dashboards, and security workflow automation, features that are either not present or less functional on the smaller mobile interface.

Scaling

Independence of resources
Recorded Future's service has been built on a scalable architecture and utilising AWS Cloud services so that adequate capacity planning can be made to accomodate for increases in data volume. there is also a dedicated data science team that curates and monitors source coverage which feeds into the capacity planning process. Clients can request collection of sources which in turn is revised by DS and then an evaluation is done as to whether that would impact capacity.

Service usage metrics
Yes
Metrics types
The Recorded Future status page offers real-time component status (e.g., Operational or Degraded) for key services like the API and Portal.

For uptime analytics, it primarily provides a historical incident log. This includes:

Resolved Incidents: A list of past outages.

Start and End Times: The precise duration of any service disruption.

Severity: The classification of the issue (e.g., Major or Minor).

It focuses on event-based reporting and communication, but typically does not display cumulative metrics like the monthly uptime percentage.
