End-of-contract data extraction
Squad AI avoids vendor lock-in by design.
When the contract ends, your data can be fully extracted. Our team works with you to securely transfer everything – including knowledge graph content, documents, insights and logs – in formats that suit your needs and systems.
We collaborate to choose the most practical approach and handle the export process during offboarding, with clear traceability.
Full support and details are provided on request.
End-of-contract process
Squad AI will fully destroy/purge client data from storage media/devices, computers, retained by Squad AI beyond the contract period and subsequent customer data extraction (if requested by the customer). There is no additional charge for this service. Please contact us for additional information on this process.

Data-in-transit protection

Data protection between buyer and supplier networks
  • TLS (version 1.2 or above)
  • IPsec or TLS VPN gateway
  • Other
Other protection between networks
Squad AI protects data in transit using TLS 1.3 (with backward compatibility to TLS 1.2 where required) and supports IPsec or TLS VPN gateways for secure tunnels to the buyer’s network.
Custom cipher suites can be configured to meet specific requirements. All communication is encrypted end-to-end.
Data protection within supplier network
  • TLS (version 1.2 or above)
  • IPsec or TLS VPN gateway
  • Other
Other protection within supplier network
Squad AI uses dedicated, customer-isolated deployments. Data is logically segregated per organisation with fine-grained RBAC. Traffic passes through gateway nodes with proxies and WAFs; unauthorised access is blocked and logged. Administrative access is segregated, host/network firewalls applied, full disk encryption used, and continuous monitoring detects anomalies, malware and intrusions.

Other user authentication
Squad AI supports flexible authentication. Standard is username/password + MFA. We can configure federation (SAML/OIDC), VPN access, public key/TLS client certs, or limited government network access per your requirements during implementation.
Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
Squad AI restricts access in management interfaces and support channels through Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), User and Group Management, and AuthN/AuthZ via API Gateway/Ingress.
Management interfaces: Require SSO/LDAP authentication, MFA, and fine-grained permissions. Admin access limited to designated roles; all actions audited in immutable logs.
Support channels: Use secure ticket systems with RBAC-enforced access. Support staff have least-privilege permissions, segregated by customer workspace. No direct data access without explicit approval.
Memory and data segregation: Persistent knowledge graphs isolated per organisation, with full encryption and air-gapped options for classified environments.

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
Squad AI uses dedicated, customer-isolated deployments with configuration managed through version-controlled infrastructure-as-code, automated provisioning tools and internal tracking.

Components (modules, compute resources, knowledge graph, software versions) are tracked via unique identifiers, dependency mapping and change logs throughout their lifecycle.

Changes are assessed for security impact by our engineering team before approval: risk reviewed, tested in staging, security scans run, and only deployed after sign-off.
Vulnerability management type
Supplier-defined controls
Vulnerability management approach
Squad AI’s vulnerability management aligns with Cyber Essentials Plus requirements.
We assess potential threats through regular automated vulnerability scanning of all components (software, OS, dependencies) and internal reviews of threat intelligence from trusted sources (e.g. NCSC alerts, vendor security advisories).
Identified vulnerabilities are prioritised based on risk, exploitability and impact, then patched as quickly as commercially reasonable—critical issues within days, high within weeks—via controlled, tested updates to avoid disruption.
Information on threats comes from NCSC feeds, vendor notifications and security community sources.
Annual independent penetration testing is conducted by a CHECK/NCSC-approved provider.
Protective monitoring type
Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach
Squad AI maintains and follows policies requiring administrative access and activity in its products to be logged and monitored, and the logs to be archived and retained in compliance with the company's management plan. Squad AI monitors privileged account use and maintains security information and event management policies and measures to identify unauthorised administrative access and activity, implement appropriate
timely responses, and facilitate internal and independent third party compliance audits. Health and availability of systems is monitored at all times.
Incident management type
Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach
Squad AI’s protective monitoring uses automated tools and processes aligned with Cyber Essentials Plus.
Identification of potential compromises: Continuous monitoring of logs, network traffic, system state deviations, anomalies, unauthorised access attempts and malware indicators via SIEM-like internal tools and gateway logging.
Response to potential compromise: Incidents trigger immediate alert to security lead. Response follows predefined playbook: containment, investigation, eradication, recovery and customer notification if required.
Response time: Critical incidents addressed within hours; high-priority within 24 hours.
All activity is logged for audit.
