When a KnowBe4 contract ends, customers can export their data directly from the admin console before access expires.
Typically, users can:
Export user lists, phishing results, training completion, and risk scores
Download reports in CSV format for retention or audit purposes
Retain data locally to meet compliance and record-keeping requirements
Data extraction is self-service and should be completed before contract termination, as console access is removed once the subscription ends. For complex requirements, KnowBe4 support can assist during offboarding. - End-of-contract process
- Unless the contract is renewed, functionality of the service (as described in the service features section) will cease on the day of expiration. The service will remain accessible. If the service is not renewed after 30 days of expiry the service will be terminated and all configuration deleted.

User impact is avoided through a multi-tenant, cloud-native architecture designed to isolate customer workloads.
Key controls include:
Logical tenant isolation so one customer’s activity cannot affect another
Elastic scaling to absorb peak demand during large campaigns or training rollouts
Rate limiting and resource controls to prevent noisy-neighbour behaviour
Globally distributed infrastructure to balance load and reduce latency
Continuous performance monitoring with automatic failover
This ensures consistent performance and availability for all customers using KnowBe4, even during periods of high demand.
