- Getting started
-
ECC Solutions provides a structured onboarding framework to help organisations quickly adopt and realise value from Microsoft Power Platform. Our onboarding includes a kick-off discovery workshop, environment readiness assessment, and tailored enablement sessions for administrators and end users.
We provide online and onsite training, supported by detailed user documentation, governance guides, and configuration manuals specific to each solution delivered. Training covers Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse administration, and Copilot adoption whilst enabling teams to confidently manage and extend their digital services.
Users also benefit from Microsoft’s extensive online ecosystem, including the Microsoft Learn platform, Power Platform community forums, and FastTrack onboarding resources, which complement ECC Solutions’ own materials and support desk.
All new deployments include access to a dedicated Technical Account Manager for the first 30 days, ensuring smooth setup, licence alignment, and security configuration.

- End-of-contract data extraction
-
At the end of the contract, ECC Solutions ensures all client data remains securely under the organisation’s ownership and control within their Microsoft tenant. Data extraction is managed through standard Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse export capabilities, allowing administrators to export records in common formats such as Excel, CSV, or via API integration.
Clients may also use Data Export Service, Dataflows, or Power BI connectors to extract and retain datasets prior to contract closure. ECC Solutions can provide optional support to facilitate a structured offboarding plan, ensuring continuity, compliance, and data integrity during transition.
Once the service agreement concludes, user access can be revoked by the client or ECC Solutions (as delegated administrator) within the Power Platform Admin Center and accounts disabled via Entra ID. No client data is held by ECC Solutions outside of the Microsoft Cloud environment unless explicitly agreed for migration or support purposes, and any temporary copies are securely deleted upon completion.
This approach guarantees data sovereignty, transparency, and full alignment with UK GDPR and government data retention policies. - End-of-contract process
-
At the end of the contract, ECC Solutions follows a structured and transparent offboarding process to ensure an orderly transition and full data retention by the client. A 30-day notice period is provided prior to contract closure, during which service access, documentation, and user accounts are reviewed.
Included within the contract price are:
- Guidance on data extraction using standard Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Deactivation of administrative access and handover of system credentials.
- A final service summary report outlining supported configurations, integrations, and known issues.
Optional offboarding support, available at additional cost, includes:
- Assisted data migration or tenant-to-tenant transfer.
- Knowledge transfer workshops and administrator training.
- Technical handover sessions with incoming suppliers.
Upon completion, ECC Solutions removes any delegated administrative rights and confirms secure deletion of any client data temporarily stored during support activities. All processes comply with UK GDPR and Cabinet Office data handling standards. - Documentation accessibility standard

ECC Solutions’ Dynamics 365 & Power Platform consultancy enables extensive customisation to align with each organisation’s operational, compliance, and user experience requirements.
Users can customise:
Applications and Workflows: Modify forms, business rules, and process automation within Power Apps and Power Automate.
Data Model: Extend or adjust Dataverse tables, relationships, and security roles to reflect organisational structures.
Dashboards and Reports: Tailor Power BI visualisations and KPIs to departmental or executive needs.
Integrations: Connect external systems (for example, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, or line-of-business APIs) through secure connectors or custom-built interfaces.
Customisation can be performed by authorised Power Platform administrators, solution architects, or ECC Solutions consultants, following change control and governance procedures. Configuration is supported directly within the Power Platform interface or via managed solution deployment in Azure DevOps.
ECC Solutions provides optional oversight through design authority and governance frameworks to ensure all changes remain compliant with NCSC and Cyber Essentials standards. This approach empowers public sector teams to adapt rapidly while maintaining secure, scalable, and supportable solutions within their Microsoft Cloud environments. Additional customisations are also available via a software development kit (SDK).
