End-of-contract data extraction
CADTransform does not store customer data within MGISS systems. All data processing is performed within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment. As a result, no end-of-contract data extraction is required, as all data remains under the customer’s control at all times.
End-of-contract process
At the end of the contract, the customer’s licence for CADTransform expires and access to software updates and technical support is withdrawn in accordance with the agreed terms. As CADTransform operates within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment and does not store customer data, no data migration or extraction activities are required.

The contract price includes the licensed use of the CADTransform software and the agreed level of technical support and maintenance. Additional services, such as professional services, consultancy, bespoke configuration, training, or extended support, are not included and are provided at an additional cost if required.

User support accessibility
WCAG 2.2 A
Description of service interface
MGISS CADTransform is delivered as an ArcGIS Pro Toolbox that integrates seamlessly within the ArcGIS Pro desktop environment. Users access the service through standard ArcGIS Pro geoprocessing tools, menus, and parameter forms, requiring no separate interface or external application. The toolbox provides clearly defined tools with guided inputs, validation, and contextual help, enabling consistent and repeatable CAD data transformation workflows. Outputs are generated directly into ArcGIS-supported formats and project workspaces, ensuring compatibility with existing GIS processes.
Accessibility standards
None or don’t know
Description of accessibility
The MGISS CADTransform service is delivered as an ArcGIS Pro Toolbox and therefore relies on the accessibility features provided by the ArcGIS Pro desktop application. ArcGIS Pro supports keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, scalable text, high-contrast display modes, and accessible form controls within geoprocessing tools. Users can run tools, enter parameters, and review messages without requiring mouse-only interaction.

As a desktop GIS application rather than a web interface, full WCAG compliance is not applicable.

Advanced map visualisation and some graphical interactions may present limitations for users with significant visual impairments. Accessibility is continually supported through alignment with platform updates
Accessibility testing
CADTransform does not introduce a bespoke user interface and therefore does not require separate accessibility testing beyond that of the ArcGIS Pro platform. Interface testing has been conducted internally

No
Customisation available
Yes
Description of customisation
The service is delivered as an ArcGIS Pro Toolbox, allowing configuration without modification to core functionality. Users can customise tool parameters, input and output formats, coordinate systems, file naming conventions, and processing options to meet organisational standards and project requirements. Tools can be incorporated into existing ArcGIS Pro models, scripts, and workflows, enabling further automation and integration.

Customisation is carried out by authorised users such as GIS analysts or administrators within the buyer organisation, using standard ArcGIS Pro functionality. No supplier intervention is required for routine configuration, ensuring flexibility while maintaining service integrity

Scaling

Independence of resources
CADTransform operates within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment and uses local system resources rather than shared MGISS infrastructure. As a result, usage by one customer does not impact the performance or availability experienced by other customers, ensuring full independence of resources.

Data-in-transit protection

Data protection between buyer and supplier networks
Other
Other protection between networks
CADTransform does not transmit customer data between the buyer’s network and MGISS networks. The software operates locally within the customer’s ArcGIS Pro environment, and all data remains within the buyer’s own systems.

Where communications with MGISS services are required (for example, licensing or support interactions), these are protected using industry-standard secure protocols, including TLS version 1.2 or above. Legacy SSL and earlier TLS versions are not used.
Data protection within supplier network
Other
Other protection within supplier network
CADTransform does not process or store customer data within MGISS networks. All data handling takes place within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment.

Internal MGISS systems used for licensing, updates, and support communications are protected using industry-standard security controls, including TLS version 1.2 or above for data in transit. Legacy SSL and deprecated TLS versions are not used.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
CADTransform is deployed within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment and does not operate as a continuously hosted MGISS service. As a result, availability is dependent on the customer’s local infrastructure and the availability of ArcGIS Pro, rather than MGISS-hosted platforms.

Formal availability SLAs for uptime are therefore not applicable. The contract includes access to the software, updates, and support in line with the agreed support tier. Where issues arise due to defects in the software, MGISS will provide support and remediation in accordance with the support agreement, but no service credits or refunds are linked to availability metrics.
Approach to resilience
CADTransform is designed to be resilient by operating entirely within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment, removing reliance on MGISS-hosted infrastructure for core service operation. This approach ensures that service resilience is determined by the customer’s local systems, backup arrangements, and ArcGIS platform resilience.

MGISS does not host customer data or operate dedicated datacentres for CADTransform. Any supporting MGISS systems used for licensing, updates, or support are hosted within secure, resilient environments aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 controls. Further details on infrastructure resilience can be provided on request.
Outage reporting
CADTransform does not operate as a continuously hosted service and therefore does not have a public status dashboard or outage reporting API. As the software runs within the customer’s own ArcGIS Pro environment, outages are typically related to the customer’s local systems.

Where issues are identified that affect the software itself, MGISS communicates with customers directly via email or through the locationtoinsight customer portal, as appropriate.

Identity and authentication

User authentication needed
Yes
User authentication
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Username or password
  • Other
Other user authentication
CADTransform is accessed within the customer’s ArcGIS Pro environment. User authentication is therefore managed through ArcGIS Pro’s built-in security mechanisms, which typically use username and password authentication and may include Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) where configured by the customer. Authentication and access control are enforced according to the customer’s ArcGIS and organisational identity management policies.
Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
Access to MGISS management interfaces and support channels is restricted through controlled authentication and authorisation. The locationtoinsight customer portal can only be accessed by authenticated users. Within the portal, users are limited to raising and viewing support cases associated with their own organisation, ensuring appropriate segregation of customer information.
Access restriction testing frequency
