At the end of the contract Spacewell Energy provides an orderly exit so the customer can retain and, where required, migrate their data in line with contractual, data protection and public‑sector obligations. Access to the live service is withdrawn only after the agreed notice period and completion of any requested standard data exports, after which environments are securely decommissioned.
Included in the price are: use of the SaaS service for the contracted term; standard environments (production and agreed test), maintenance, upgrades and backups; access to online documentation, the support portal and standard support, including use of in‑product reporting and CSV/structured exports. Additional costs apply for non‑standard or bespoke activities, such as complex or large‑scale data extractions, data transformations or mapping to a successor system, custom integrations or enhanced/extended exit support beyond the standard service, which are scoped and quoted separately.

Spacewell Energy offers data insertion and data consumption APIs, so they are not siloed. Moreover, add-ons (independent web applications) can be developed on top of the Spacewell Energy Suite to provide additional features or to integrate with external applications.
The writing API works over HTTPS protocol using JSON format messages as a preferred data insertion option so it is a basic service included in the license subscription.
The reading API is a REST API. Users get an access token and consume the end points available. To make the API fast for everybody, rate limits apply. We allow a certain number of requests per hour, and a certain number of requests per day. We reserve the right to adjust the rate limit for given endpoints in order to provide a high quality of service for all customers.
