Availability and resilience

- Vicarius and customer data is stored on AWS managed services (S3, DB etc.), and making use of the AWS SLAs which provide for 99.999% uptime. These are hosted in AWS Frankfurt, Germany, and the services backup the data and allow for business continuity. To address the backups, Vicarius leverages AWS native DR capabilities, which include using multiple availability zones to run production workloads, and the data is backed up daily, weekly & monthly. Public-facing environments (such as proxies and APIs) are managed using AWS elastic beanstalk ensuring maximum redundancy and scalability.
