API Capabilities
Users can initiate voice assessments by submitting patient demographics (age, sex, language) and receive secure upload URLs for voice recordings. Once recordings are uploaded, users can poll for results and retrieve depression and anxiety severity scores, disorder probabilities, and symptom-level predictions. Users can also generate and access clinical reports via secure time-limited URLs.
Setup
Healthcare organisations receive API credentials from Thymia. Integration requires implementing HTTPS requests with bearer token authentication, handling presigned URL uploads for audio files, and building a polling mechanism for result retrieval.
Limitations
The API does not provide a patient-facing interface—organisations must build their own recording collection workflow. Audio files must meet format requirements (WAV, MP3, MP4, FLAC, OGG, WebM), be 15–180 seconds duration, and under 50MB. Currently English, Japanese and Spanish are supported. The API is for assessment support only, not standalone diagnosis. Rate limiting applies, and report access URLs expire after 30 days. - API documentation

Scaling
- Independence of resources
- Thymia Apollo implements rate limiting to protect against overuse and ensure fair resource allocation across all customers. The cloud-based architecture provides scalability to accommodate varying usage patterns while maintaining consistent performance. Redundant systems and automated failover ensure service availability isn't degraded by demand spikes. Each organisation's data and processing is logically segregated, preventing one customer's workload from impacting another's.

- Configuration and change management approach
- Configuration and changes are tracked through integrated tooling. All code and infrastructure changes are version-controlled in GitLab with merge request approvals required. Changes are logged in Jira with traceability to requirements. Internal release notes document all changes per release. Security impact is assessed at two stages: automated security scanning in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and mandatory security review documented in merge request notes as part of our SOC2 controls. Technical documentation is maintained in Confluence. All components are tagged with version identifiers enabling full traceability through their lifecycle from development to production deployment.
- Vulnerability management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Vulnerability management approach
- Vulnerabilities are identified through automated security scanning in GitLab CI/CD pipelines. We monitor CVE databases, AWS security bulletins, and dependency alerts from GitLab and package registries. Vulnerabilities are triaged by severity and tracked in Jira. Critical security patches can be deployed within 24 hours. Security assessments are documented as part of our SOC2 controls with findings reviewed during merge request approvals.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- All API requests, authentication attempts, and system operations are logged to AWS CloudWatch and Datadog. Failed authentication attempts are logged with source IP for threat detection. Datadog provides real-time monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection across infrastructure and application layers. Report access and data operations maintain audit trails for compliance. Health check endpoints enable continuous availability monitoring. Alerts are configured for security events, performance degradation, and system errors.
