Operational security

Configuration and change management standard
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Configuration and change management approach
Orbus Software's configuration and change management process is designed to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of its cloud platform. All changes to the production environment—including hardware, software, and documentation—are performed by authorised personnel and managed through a formal change management process. This process includes multiple levels of approval, privileged user training, and the use of Just-In-Time (JIT) access via Microsoft Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Changes are tracked and deployed using Azure DevOps pipelines, with strict separation of duties and emergency access controls. Comprehensive documentation, automation, and regular reviews underpin the process
Vulnerability management type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Vulnerability management approach
Automated tooling regularly checks vulnerability disclosure databases (e.g: CVE, NVD, NPM). Any positive results are assessed against our internal vulnerability policy which dictates the speed at which the issue will be patched and released.
Protective monitoring type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Protective monitoring approach
Our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) provides 24x7 monitoring and incident response services. When a security event or incident is detected, The MSSP's Security Operations Centre (SOC) is responsible for monitoring, triage, and escalation. Incidents, including vulnerabilities, are reported and managed through Orbus Software's established change management and incident response processes. The Orbus Software Information Security Team works closely with the MSSP to contain, investigate, and remediate incidents, following defined playbooks and procedures. All incidents are recorded in a centralised incident register, and post-incident reviews are conducted to ensure continuous improvement of the security posture.
Incident management type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example, CSA CCM v4.0 or ISO/IEC 27035:2011 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Post-quantum cryptography secure
Yes
Incident management approach
Orbus Software's incident management process includes detection, triage, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review. Incidents are recorded in a central register, with clear roles and responsibilities assigned. Scenario-specific playbooks are tested annually, and both internal and external reporting procedures are in place. Customers are notified of notifiable data breaches according to established procedures, ensuring effective and coordinated incident response.
