- End-of-contract data extraction
- Data can be extracted by export into portable files such as .txt or .csv. Automations can also be used to deliver data to certain databases. However, Qlik primarily displays analysis of data already stored in source systems so data should not need to be exported from Qlik in most cases, although it can be.
- End-of-contract process
- The contract includes use of a private SaaS tenant and its purchased components for the duration of the contract. During that time, management of the tenant contents (data) is the responsibility of the customer and they are free to delete any data prior to end of contract. Any data remaining after end of contract will be purged as per Qlik terms.

In our effort to make this website accessible to visitors with disabilities and optimize the user experience for all site visitors, Qlik has partnered with AudioEye, a third-party provider of web accessibility testing, remediation, and monitoring services.
We recognize that accessibility and usability are not always possible in every area of the website, or for those visitors using assistive technologies and devices. Qlik conducts accessibility reviews of its website and remediates issues uncovered by these audits according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing.

Scaling
- Independence of resources

Qlik Cloud is built upon a micro-services architecture, with the various components of the platform designed from the ground up to build a powerful, enterprise-ready cloud-native solution. Qlik’s container-based micro-services architecture allows each component to scale as needed rather than adding more servers as traditionally done on on-premises solutions.
A key feature of this platform is the ability to horizontally scale up as workloads increase, and scale back down as they decrease; a key component used in the Qlik Cloud platform to ensure consistent performance for our customers, regardless of the number of users on the platform.

Qlik utilizes an elastic microservices architecture that utilizes Docker as our container platform, Kubernetes for orchestration and AWS as our cloud provider. This cloud native architecture allows for a highly available, scalable and secure multi-tenant SaaS offering, where assets are automatically spun up and spun down on demand. Services are continuously deployed in which the latest version of the underlying operating system is updated as part of that process.

- SDLC is key to Qlik's Security Model and follows an adaptation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Qlik takes guidance from OWASP top 10 and SANS top 20. Internal vulnerability scans conducted weekly and external penetration tests conducted annually. Qlik's security program includes automated (DAST and SAST scans) and manual (security code reviews) elements. Threat modelling is performed against new features and penetration tests executed by a dedicated team. Vulnerability Management is integral to Qlik's Security Model. Qlik's methodology and approach for vulnerabilities aligns with industry best practices. Vulnerabilities are patched based on CVSS v3.0 severity.
