What the ISO/IEC 27001 doesn’t cover
-
Our ISO/IEC 27001 certification covers the information security management system for the design, support, hosting and maintenance of secure digital applications, websites, application interfaces and mobile applications, as defined in the certified scope.
Activities outside this scope include:
Customer-owned or customer-managed infrastructure, hosting environments, networks, or cloud platforms where 6B does not have operational control.
Third-party systems, platforms, or services that integrate with solutions delivered by 6B but are operated and secured by external organisations.
End-user devices, local IT environments, and organisational processes that sit wholly within a customer’s internal operations.
Clinical safety assurance, clinical governance, or regulatory compliance activities beyond information security management.
Services or business activities not related to the delivery, support, hosting, or maintenance of digital products as defined in the statement of applicability.
Where third-party suppliers or customer environments are involved, 6B applies appropriate supplier assurance, contractual controls, and risk management processes to ensure information security risks are identified and managed in line with our ISO/IEC 27001–certified ISMS.
