Zero Planned Downtime: Pure’s architecture supports non-disruptive upgrades; however, customers must coordinate remote installation windows with Pure Support to ensure oversight.
Connectivity Requirements: Arrays must maintain a "phone-home" connection to Pure1® for AI-driven monitoring and capacity metering.
Minimum Commitments: Subscriptions typically require a minimum reserve capacity (e.g., 50TiB for Block storage) and a defined contract term.
Public Cloud Support: While multi-cloud is supported via Pure Cloud Block Store, performance is subject to the underlying AWS/Azure infrastructure limits and regional availability. - System requirements

No Hidden Fees: There are no extra charges for 24/7 access, onsite engineering visits, or hardware replacements.
Premium Add-ons: Specialized extensions, such as the Cyber Recovery and Resilience SLA (which provides guaranteed clean-room recovery after a ransomware attack), may carry an additional uplift fee depending on the specific recovery requirements.
Designated Support Engineer (DSE): A senior technical lead who understands your specific environment, history, and architectural needs. They act as a consistent point of contact for complex technical issues.

- End-of-contract data extraction
- Users maintain full ownership and control of their data. At contract end, you extract data using standard protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SMB, NFS, S3) onto new infrastructure. Pure Storage provides guidance during this transition and performs a certified secure data erasure of the decommissioned hardware before it leaves your site.
- End-of-contract process
- Upon termination, a transition period allows data migration to your new platform using standard protocols. Once migrated, Pure Storage performs a certified secure data erasure (NIST 800-88 compliant) on the physical infrastructure before decommissioning. All on-site hardware is then professionally removed at no additional cost.

Evergreen//One API Capabilities
Capabilities: Users can programmatically monitor real-time performance, track GiB consumption/billing, audit subscription status, and sync hardware inventory with CMDBs. It enables automated support ticket management and capacity forecasting.
Setup: Administers register the API by uploading an RSA public key to Pure1 to generate an Application ID for secure, token-based access.
Changes: Users can update metadata and resource tags for departmental chargeback.
Limitations: The API is Read-Only for storage provisioning; it cannot create volumes, delete data, or modify core contractual terms. Physical hardware settings require the web portal or local CLI. - API documentation
