- End-of-contract process
-
At the end of the contract, the Secure Nexus SASE service is offboarded in a controlled manner. User access is disabled, policies are decommissioned, and the service is securely withdrawn. Customers can export their configuration data, user information, and security reports before termination. Following agreed retention periods, service data is securely deleted.
The contract price includes service delivery, cloud platform access, configuration, monitoring, support, and standard onboarding and offboarding. Any additional services such as extended data retention, bespoke reporting, onsite support, or additional consultancy are agreed separately and charged as additional costs. - Documentation accessibility standard

- Service interface
- Yes
- User support accessibility
- None or don’t know
- Description of service interface
- The service interface is a secure, cloud-based management portal accessed through a standard web browser. Administrators use a central dashboard to configure access policies, manage users and devices, monitor connectivity, and review security events. End users interact through a lightweight client that operates transparently in the background, requiring minimal user input.
- Accessibility standards
- None or don’t know
- Description of accessibility
- The service is accessible through a secure, cloud-based management portal using a standard web browser for administrators, and a lightweight client for end users on supported devices. Administrators can configure access policies, manage users and devices, and monitor security events. End users can securely access approved applications, data, and internet services but cannot modify security policies or bypass enforced controls.
- Accessibility testing
- The service interface is web-based and designed to align with common accessibility standards supported by modern browsers. Interface testing has been carried out using keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility checks, and high-contrast display modes. Where third-party platform interfaces are used, Secure Nexus relies on the underlying vendor’s accessibility testing and published conformance statements, and provides reasonable adjustments and support guidance where required.
- API
- Yes
- What users can and can't do using the API
-
The service provides API access through the underlying SASE platform for authorised administrators.
Administrators can use the API to automate user onboarding, device registration, policy assignment, and reporting integration during service setup. Ongoing changes such as updating access policies, managing users or groups, and retrieving security events can also be performed via the API.
API access is role-based and restricted to supported functions exposed by the platform. Core security controls, global configuration, and platform availability settings cannot be modified via the API and must be managed through the web interface to maintain service integrity and security assurance. - API documentation

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
The service is delivered on a cloud-native SASE platform designed for high availability, using multiple geographically distributed points of presence and built-in redundancy. Secure Nexus targets 99.9% service availability per calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance.
Availability is monitored continuously. If availability falls below the agreed level, service credits are applied in line with the contract SLA. Credits are calculated as a percentage of the monthly service charge and applied to the next invoice. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance and does not count toward availability calculations. - Approach to resilience
- The service is built on a cloud-native SASE architecture designed for resilience and continuity. Security and connectivity functions are delivered from multiple geographically distributed datacentres, providing redundancy and automatic failover. Traffic is dynamically routed to the nearest available point of presence, ensuring continued service during component or site failures. Platform capacity scales elastically to absorb demand spikes without service degradation. Detailed datacentre locations, certifications, and resilience controls are available on request to meet government asset protection and resilience assurance requirements.
- Outage reporting
-
Secure Nexus reports service outages through clear, timely, and transparent communication channels.
When an outage or service degradation is detected, Secure Nexus raises an incident through its monitoring and alerting systems. Affected customers are notified promptly via agreed communication channels, including the Secure Nexus service portal and dedicated Microsoft Teams channels.
Status updates are provided at regular intervals, detailing the nature of the issue, affected services, current impact, and remediation progress. Where relevant, estimated restoration timelines are shared.
Following resolution, Secure Nexus provides a post-incident summary outlining root cause, actions taken, and any preventative measures implemented. Availability metrics and SLA impact are reviewed as part of regular service reporting.

Information security and risk management
Access control, identity management, and MFA
Data protection, encryption, and retention
Incident response and breach management
Supplier and third-party assurance
Change, patch, and vulnerability management
Business continuity and disaster recovery
All policies are version-controlled, reviewed at least annually, and updated in response to risk, regulatory change, or material service updates.
Overall responsibility for information security sits with senior management, supported by an Information Security Officer (ISO role) who oversees the ISMS. Security risks, incidents, audit findings, and improvement actions are reported through management reviews and tracked to closure. Significant issues are escalated to leadership in line with defined thresholds.
Policy compliance is enforced through mandatory staff training, role-based access controls, documented procedures, and continuous monitoring. Regular internal audits, risk assessments, and management reviews are conducted as part of ISO 27001 requirements, alongside external certification audits. Non-conformities are formally recorded, remediated, and revalidated. - Software Security Code of Practice

- Configuration and change management approach
-
Secure Nexus follows ISO/IEC 27001 certified configuration and change management processes. All service components, including cloud services, backup policies, integrations, and access controls, are recorded within secure service management systems and tracked throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to decommissioning. Configuration baselines are defined, version-controlled, and auditable.
All changes follow a formal change process and are assessed for operational, security, and compliance impact before approval. Security-impacting changes are reviewed against access control, encryption, availability, and recovery requirements. Emergency changes are controlled and retrospectively reviewed to ensure continued security, stability, and compliance. - Vulnerability management type

- Vulnerability management approach
- Secure Nexus operates a vulnerability management process aligned to our ISO/IEC 27001–certified ISMS. Potential threats are identified through continuous vulnerability scanning, configuration reviews, and risk assessments, with findings prioritised by severity and exploitability. Security patches are deployed according to risk, with critical vulnerabilities addressed urgently and lower-risk updates scheduled through planned maintenance. Emergency patching is used where active exploitation is identified. Threat intelligence is sourced from vendor security advisories, cloud provider alerts, CVE databases, CERT notifications, and security partners. All remediation actions are logged, tracked, and reviewed to ensure ongoing security.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- Secure Nexus operates protective monitoring aligned to our ISO/IEC 27001 certified ISMS. Potential compromises are identified through continuous log monitoring, security alerting, anomaly detection, and vendor platform alerts across service components. When a potential compromise is detected, incidents are triaged, contained, and investigated using defined response procedures, with escalation to senior security staff where required. Affected customers are notified in line with agreed communication and incident processes. Security incidents are responded to immediately upon detection, with critical incidents prioritised for rapid containment and remediation, followed by root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
