- How the planning service works

Our Data Architecture service will work with you to develop your data strategy and architecture. We will work with you to develop the relevant level of design documentation (be that a design for a project or your enterprise data strategy) - shaped by your business, technology and end-user requirements. We adhere to standard frameworks and methodologies (DAMA-DMBOK, Data Mesh and BEAM).
Our Engagement Framework guides our engagement. We balance the need for flexibility with clear deliverables with clear success criteria. Our services will typically contribute to different stages of a development lifecycle which Lykus may manage in an end-to-end manner or contribute to as part of a wider initiative.
As a general practice our Architecture services will lead the Explore and Discover phase of our approach.
During the explore and planning phase we will focus on agreeing an upfront scope with your senior stakeholders, we will work with you to understand your priority and focus for the engagement which will culminate in an agreed Problem Statement for Discovery.
By the end of the planning and discovery phase we would intend to have

Lykus specializes in Microsoft Azure to facilitate transition to the cloud. Our experience has show greater utilisation of cloud services makes it easier and cost effective to modernise data handling and exploitation activity.
We would begin by building an understanding of your current data infrastructure from the perspective of storage, transformation, reporting, integration, security and service management. Once all dependencies are identified we would work with your infrastructure SMEs to develop a roadmap for transition.
Our expertise is focused on data service (such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL and Fabric) but our understanding goes beyond these products covering networking, storage, app services and so on. This ensures we are able to take a fully rounded approach to planning the migration.
Additionally, Lykus can work with you to optimize costs, establish clear data lifecycle process, improve data governance, and enhance disaster recovery strategies, ensuring the organization fully benefits from Azure's cloud capabilities. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
- All efforts to carry out quality assurance begin with a clear understanding of the clients performance metrics and KPIs. Once we understand these we are able to use our technical skillset to optimise and fine-tune data pipeline, table and model performance. This requires a structured and methodological approach to identify the variables impacting performance and quality. All steps are documented and objectives & stakeholders are agreed with the client at the outset and this serves as the basis for sign-off.
