How the planning service works
The Risk Radar methodology helps organisation consider IT risks in a structured and detailed way. The discovery planning phase will deliver a detailed Risk Register against 18 Risk Categories:

For each risk in the register a definition is created that defines the risk and includes a meaningful impact and probability assessment.
Impact Categories are : Catastrophic to Business; Public Reputation Damage; Immediate Core Service Outage; Client Recognition; Internal Only. Probability Categories are : Happening (it hit us); Imminent (next 3 months); Probable (next 12 months); Possible (next 3 years); Unlikely (not foreseeable future).
Planning outputs are key and these are presented in a visually stimulating and easily understandable 'radar' format. As well as driving action planning the 'radar' style visualisation also provides a holistic view to stakeholders of the overall risk profile, giving confidence that risks are being managed and mitigating actions progressed.

Over the course of the 90 days the Illuminet consultant will provide your team with a methodology which is repeatable, strengthening the organisations risk management. The consultant will leave you with a cadre of trained Risk Advocates who can champion continued risk management and reduction.

A team of people covering the key areas of the IT and Business 5. Team members to attend kick-off, key workshops, key stage review sessions, status reviews and wrap-up session. 6. Management buy-in for the 90 days engagement 7. Appropriate and timely engagement from the Steering Team. 8. Timely access for the Illuminet Team to avoid delays in initiation and progression of activities. 9. Timely provision of requested data / information
