- Getting started
-
Kick-off Call: The initial kick-off call allows our onboarding team to understand your specific parcel flows and objectives. During this call, we provide two key documents for you to complete: the Recipient_List and User_List. If custom integration is necessary, we will also gather contact details from your IT representative and confirm that you have the appropriate devices for our service.
System Configuration: Our team will then configure the Parcel Tracker system using the information you provide. For setups requiring custom integrations, we coordinate directly with your IT department to ensure seamless integration.
Training: We offer comprehensive training sessions, available both remotely and onsite, tailored to each stakeholder group. These sessions typically last between 45 to 60 minutes and are designed for groups of up to four participants. By the end of training, the system will be fully operational, and all necessary devices will be in place.
Roll-out and Support: Following training, you will begin using the software. Our team remains actively engaged, regularly checking in to ensure the system functions smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
This structured approach not only streamlines the initial setup but also supports your team in effectively integrating Parcel Tracker into your operations. - Service documentation

Parcel Tracker service leverages Microsoft Azure's robust infrastructure to ensure resilience through several advanced security and reliability measures:
Web Application Firewall (WAF): We utilize Azure's built-in WAF to protect our services from web vulnerabilities and attacks by filtering, monitoring, and blocking malicious traffic before it can affect our system.
Penetration Testing: Regular penetration testing is conducted to identify and address security vulnerabilities. This proactive approach allows us to fortify our defenses against potential security threats.
Data Replication: To prevent data loss, we implement data replication across multiple Azure data centers. This ensures that our data remains intact and readily available even in the event of a system failure.
Best Practices in Development and Operations: We adhere to industry best practices in software development and operational procedures, which include continuous integration and deployment cycles, secure coding standards, and regular security audits.
Monitoring and Disaster Recovery: Continuous monitoring of our systems enables us to quickly detect and mitigate issues. Our comprehensive disaster recovery strategies ensure minimal service disruption and fast recovery times.
These strategies are integral to maintaining the resilience of our service, ensuring it remains secure, reliable, and responsive under all conditions. - Outage reporting

At Parcel Tracker, we ensure rigorous management of our configuration and change processes:
Lifecycle Tracking: We track all service components from deployment to decommissioning, maintaining decommissioned features for the duration of contract lengths to ensure service continuity.
Security Impact Assessment: Each change is assessed for potential security impacts, identifying risks and planning mitigations to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
Documented Processes: Our procedures are meticulously documented, with each change undergoing a strict approval and review process.
Feature Alternatives: When features are decommissioned, we provide alternative solutions to maintain functionality and support our clients' needs. - Vulnerability management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Vulnerability management approach
- Potential threats and vulnerabilities are detected using a 3rd party system that scans cloud, code and dependencies used (package scanning, SAST and dynamic scanning). Fixes for critical issues happen within 14 days, for high 30 days and medium and below 90 days. Information comes from a number of sources (not disclosed by the vendor - aikido.dev)
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- Detection is done via cloud logs and alerts. The main protection around the service is the Web Application Firewall that is able to detect several kind of attacks and to trigger an alert in these attacks are above the baseline of false positives. The response depends on the kind of attack and affected component, but in most serious scenarios, disconnecting the system from the public internet could be a way to limit the impact of the compromise. Security incidents are looked at within 1h of the alert triggering
- Incident management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Incident management approach
- We have a common template for incidents with sections that may or not be relevant for each of the incidents. All our customers have a point of contact in the company they can report to, but the support web chat can also be used to report issues. Incident reports are made once the mitigation step is complete, and the system is functional. There reports are shared via email to the users and contain all details including a timeline of the events and affected components + mitigation actions
