Service scope

Service constraints
Service is delivered remotely, primarily from the UK, with additional remote support resources where appropriate. Any overseas-based support staff operate under UK management, UK GDPR-aligned processes, and contractual confidentiality obligations.

Customers must own and maintain their Microsoft Azure tenant and subscriptions. Virtual Edge does not provide cloud hosting or resell Azure services. Internet connectivity is required for service delivery. Support hours and response times are agreed at call-off.

Support response times
Support requests are acknowledged during UK business hours, typically within one working hour. Initial response times and resolution targets are agreed at call-off based on service scope and criticality.

Out-of-hours and weekend support is available for priority incidents by prior agreement. Requests received outside business hours are logged and responded to on the next working day unless an agreed out-of-hours support arrangement is in place.

Support levels
Virtual Edge provides flexible support levels aligned to customer needs and agreed at call-off.

Standard Support
Includes remote support during UK business hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday), email/ticketing and phone support, incident triage, and operational assistance for Azure environments. This level is suitable for routine operational support and security oversight.

Enhanced Support
Includes all Standard Support features with faster response targets, priority incident handling, and extended support coverage where required. Enhanced Support may include scheduled reviews and proactive operational guidance.

Support costs are based on a monthly fee, determined by service scope, environment complexity, and required response times. Pricing is confirmed during the call-off process.

Customers are assigned a dedicated cloud support engineer for day-to-day technical support. A technical account management function can be provided as part of Enhanced Support to support service oversight, coordination, and ongoing improvement.

All support levels are defined and documented at call-off to ensure clarity and proportionality.
