How the setup or migration service works
Successful cloud migration requires careful consideration of key points which may be unique to your project but which we will work with you to define and deliver. In order these will include the following.
Establish architecture – the strategy for migration and cloud solution requirements that meet the project priorities. Identify or appoint the lead architect responsible for the cloud project delivery.
Define the cloud configuration – choose whether single, multi hybrid public or private cloud infrastructure solution is right for your project.
Key Performance Indicators that will be used – what will be the metrics or KPI’s that will be measured to assess that deployment has met project expectations. Establish the baseline performance value for comparison.
Plan and prioritise components – migration plan of components and order in which migration proceeds. Depending on complexity implement migration monitoring solutions. Carefully plan data migration and process or service to be employed.
Rigorously Test – ensure KPI’s are met and all data validated before deploy and go-live.
