  Energy Systems Catapult is fully committed to leveraging this Framework Agreement to enable public bodies to deliver against their Net Zero commitments and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The datasets made available in the Net Zero Data Market are specifically designed to enable the speedy initial viability assessment for net zero projects such as the roll out of electric vehicle charge points, or retrofit of public bodies’ own estate buildings. The range of Net Zero Data builds on the Catapult’s teams combined 30-plus years of delivering local area energy plans and projects to decarbonise local areas. Each dataset comes with a detailed methodology statement which describes the use cases or project types that they are applicable to. Net Zero Data can be used alongside Net Zero Go, a free to access digital platform, containing guides, tools and templates from the Catapult which supports public sector bodies in their decarbonisation journeys.

  Energy Systems Catapult (the Catapult) is fully committed to leveraging this Framework Agreement to create a diverse supply chain to enable public bodies to deliver their Net Zero commitments. Typically, data required to assess the feasibility of net zero projects is developed on a project by project basis by consultants. This has a cost implication for the commissioning body. Net Zero Data Market brings a suite of datasets, prebuilt around different project types so the procurement is quick, easy and lower cost than building bespoke for each region. By building these datasets on a nationwide scale, but selling on a local authority scale, via a quick to search, digital platform Net Zero Data Market the Catapult considerably speed up the procurement of data and reduce cost, whilst maintaining the high quality of the datasets themselves.
