Edison365 uses Microsoft Azure Datacenters regular backups are enabled to ensure that your data can be restored in case of any unforeseen events or issues. A backup is just a copy of the database at a certain point in time.
Database backups are an essential part of any business continuity and disaster recovery strategy, because they help protect your data from corruption or deletion. These backups enable database restore to a point in time within the configured retention period.
Backup Frequency
The backup schedule, set by Microsoft, includes the following frequencies:

Database backups will be retained for 30 days and stored in geo-redundant storage to ensure backups of the database are available in a different physical location
