Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
99.9% uptime availability is guaranteed.
Ajar Technology offers customised SLAs for support and maintenance across all sectors.
Service credits can be applied in the event SLAs are not met.
Approach to resilience
Riple-Redundant Cloud Storage: Video data is stored in triplicate across multiple geographically dispersed data centers. This ensures that if one data center or server fails, the video data remains accessible and secure.
Local Buffering & Automatic Failover: Eagle Eye bridges and cameras use on-premise, hardened, or local storage to buffer video footage if the internet connection is lost. Once connectivity is restored, the buffered, high-resolution video is automatically uploaded to the cloud without manual intervention.
Cybersecurity & Threat Protection: The system is engineered to withstand cyberattacks, featuring "Camera Cyber Lockdown" that blocks unauthorized communication with cameras. It uses end-to-end encryption for both stored and transmitted data.
Automatic System Updates (VSaaS): As a Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) model, Eagle Eye automatically pushes security patches and software updates, removing the risk of outdated or vulnerable systems.
High-Availability Infrastructure: The cloud infrastructure itself is designed with redundant power supplies, network interfaces, and internet connections, providing 24/7 reliability.
The system supports a mix of on-premise and cloud recording, allowing for increased reliability and the ability to operate in environments with limited or unstable bandwidth.
Proactive Monitoring & AI: The platform utilises AI for proactive alerting, such as line crossing or object detection.
Outage reporting
Via the dashboard and email notification alerts.
