We work with clients to assess their current IT environment and business processes, identify their business goals, and develop a comprehensive Digital Transformation Plan.

Our approach towards AI-enabled automation is based on the foundation of process re-imagination. We start by carefully examining the existing automation portfolio, identifying opportunities where AI infusion can unlock new efficiencies and capabilities. Simultaneously, we actively seek out new automation prospects, viewing each through an AI lens to gauge its potential impact/feasibility.
Once potential candidates are identified, we subject them to rigorous fitment assessments, feasibility studies and ROI analyses. This thorough evaluation and planning stage ensures that the selected automation initiatives not only align with strategic goals but also deliver tangible value and measurable returns. Following selection, these initiatives undergo comprehensive training and monitoring phases, enabling constant upgrades and improvements.

Value realisation is included in planning, together with ongoing continuous improvement processes to ensure BOT enhancements are considered during business-as-usual activities. The Planning phases are underpinned by a strong foundation of governance/change management/training/support.

Our Professional Services Team includes Business Analysts to capture/confirm technical, operational and commercial requirements. Enterprise, Technical Architects, Solution Architects and highly-experienced AI-specific Architects and Designers, are available to determine/agree the most appropriate approach.

How the training service works
AI Digital has a strong network of Associates and Partners who are able to offer different training combinations to suit the needs of the customer. Training can be delivered face to face or remotely and can be instructor led or self-driven through working through pre-written and agreed training material. We are also able to offer a train-the-trainer approach to enable the customer to take more of a lead moving forward.

In addition to facilitating accredited technical training when required, we are also able to offer training in softer but equally important aspects such as Lean Six System and Operational Excellence to ensure that any transformational changes are culturally embedded too and staff have a Lean-thinking and continuous improvement mentality.

Support levels
Support is provided throughout any project or assignment. The level of support may vary depending on the size and scale of the Project. Most Projects will include a Project or Programme Manager who will oversee and manage the day-to-day progression of the work. In the planning phases of project governance stakeholder mapping and communication plans will all have been agreed to ensure a clear line of support and escalation route.

The levels of support will be tailored to the phase of the Project, for example during testing it may be appropriate to have online ticketing support in place to hold a record of findings. During release support it may be more appropriate to have telephone and chat support in place to ensure speed of response. Levels will be discussed and agreed during the planning phase, and any cost implications agreed.

For cloud migrations. a technical lead will be in place in addition to a general Account Manager. The Account Manager will have regular service review meetings with senior stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction and can act as an additional escalation route if required.

Fighting climate change

Our Carbon Reduction Plan declares our ambitious net zero emissions plan and we have committed to initiatives such as:
• Employee commuting - Lower carbon options for employees commuting, with the introduction of salary sacrifice benefits to enable employees to benefit from hybrid and electric cars under a new Car Scheme, and bicycles under a new Cycle to Work Scheme
• Employee awareness – We will engage with our employees to educate and involve them in the Carbon Reduction Plan, seeking their input and incorporating their ideas and suggestions
• Employees working from home – We will explore educational tools and partnering opportunities with companies such as ‘Count Us In’, to empower our employees to take positive action and accountability through personal actions to reduce their own carbon footprint
• We know that business travel and client site visits will not be 100% avoidable or practical, therefore we look to offset any unavoidable carbon emissions through certified climate action projects

Our work typically involves deploying innovative solutions that benefit the environment through the reduction in elements such as physical assets and associated energy savings. For each assignment through the Framework we will work collaboratively with clients and their supply chains to deliver environmental benefits and work towards net zero, highlighting the benefits gained in the realisation phase.

Tackling economic inequality

AI Digital fosters an environment where employment and training opportunities are open to those who face barriers to employment. We are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2023 and are looking to progress beyond Bronze accreditation as the year progresses. We have successfully employed ex-armed forces personnel and supported them in their transition to civilian life.

We are a people organisation, our people are key to the success of our business, and their health and wellbeing are paramount to us. As part of our staff benefits, we provide access to all employees to a comprehensive Employee Access Programme (EAP). This is part of a package that includes access to Income Protection that covers 50% of salary for up to 24 months in the event of long-term sickness.
