This service provides validation of the overarching programme status, fitness and quality, against our integrated best practice framework, and can be applied at any point in the transformation/cloud migration lifecycle – from strategic alignment in definition through to optimum procurement, delivery, transition to live service and realisation of business case benefits.

This service can be used at the planning stages of a transformation/cloud migration programme to validate the initial programme definition, delivery approach, plans and business case.

Our assessment is carried out against our reference framework of products and methods, built from deep knowledge and integration of public-domain standards such as COBIT, MSP, TOGAF, PRINCE, and ITIL, combined with real-word experience of their application when implementing cloud-based services and/or transforming the digital and technology operating model.

At the planning stage, the emphasis of our programme health check is on providing confidence that the programme business case is viable. We can also focus on areas of known risk, such as managing parallel procurements and multi-supplier projects, and highlight mitigating activities that can improve the programme achievability.

This service provides assessment and validation of the overarching programme status, fitness and quality, against our integrated best practice framework, and can be applied at any point in the transformation/cloud migration lifecycle – from strategic alignment at definition through to optimum procurement, delivery, transition to live service and realisation of business case benefits.

This service can be used during the sourcing and delivery stages of a transformation/cloud migration programme to provide senior stakeholders with a summarised view of programme effectiveness.

As part of our standard approach to health checks we will assess the current reporting practices and latest outputs as well as any underlying plans. In addition, we will review the quality and implementation of programme governance arrangements, including functional governance, to determine their overall fitness for purpose in a cloud based, multi-supplier model. In doing this we can provide an end to end, independent assessment across areas such as risk, issues, dependencies, and scope deficiencies which could all negatively impact the programme’s ability to realise the benefits and objectives in its business case.

By adopting cloud services, our clients will typically be enabling energy-hungry and under-utilised legacy systems to be decommissioned, and so reduce the need for associated on-premise cooling systems. The transition to cloud services typically moves computing workloads to more efficient, higher utilised systems, hosted in modern facilities with reduced cooling requirements. Delivery of cloud migration programmes therefore delivers significant overall reduction in energy consumption. Our services help clients to deliver these benefits more quickly and with more certainty.
In addition, subject to client preferences, the majority of our services can be delivered remotely, significantly reducing the need for our team to travel to our client's premises, and the associated carbon footprint.

Covid-19 recovery

Our services help clients to achieve their transformation/cloud migration programmes more quickly. In adopting cloud services, and moving applications and data from on-premise legacy systems to cloud-hosted solutions, our clients will typically be enabling these to be 'accessed from anywhere on any device'.
