- The time and complexity of the migration will be based on the number of users and the size of user mailboxes. The only application in the bundle that works offline is Office Professional Plus. It lack the full feature set found in the on-premises versions. Previous versions such as Office 2010 may work with Office 365 with reduced functionality. Some third part tools restriction may put some constraints as well. Some other constraint will apply that depends upon current products and configuration used by the customer.

There is a limit on number of API requests made by each user, per organization instance, within a five minute sliding window. Additionally, there is a limit on number of concurrent requests that may come in at one time. When one of these limits is exceeded, an exception will be thrown.
The limit will help ensure that users running applications cannot interfere with each other based on resource constraints. The limits will not affect normal users of the platform. Only applications that perform a large number of API requests may be affected. - API documentation
