Planning
- Planning service
- Yes
- How the planning service works
-
1. We begin by assessing the current IT infrastructure. Define clear goals for what you hope to achieve with cloud services, such as increased flexibility, scalability, or cost reduction.
2. Select a cloud service provider that meets your requirements in terms of technology, security standards, compliance needs, and budget. Evaluate their service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure they align with your business's expectations.
3. Design the cloud architecture considering the specific needs of your applications. Plan for a scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure. Decide on a single cloud or multi-cloud strategy based on your business continuity plans.
4. Develop a phased migration strategy. Start with less critical applications to mitigate risks. Use this phase to iron out any issues before moving more significant systems.
5. Implement the cloud setup. Conduct thorough testing to ensure that everything operates as expected. Include performance and security testing.
6. Train staff on the new systems and processes. Effective change management practices are essential to help ease the transition and encourage adoption.
7. After implementation, continuously monitor and manage the cloud environment to optimise costs, performance, and security. Regularly review and adjust the cloud services to align with evolving business needs - Planning service works with specific services

- How the setup or migration service works
-
Assessment and Planning: We begin by evaluating your current infrastructure and applications to determine their suitability for cloud migration. Identify dependencies and potential challenges. Define clear objectives and set measurable goals for the migration.
Selecting the Right Cloud Provider: We choose a cloud provider that aligns with your technical requirements, security standards, and budget. Considering factors such as compatibility, scalability, and the provider’s track record.
Develop a Migration Strategy: We design a detailed migration plan that includes a timeline, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. We decide whether to use a single cloud or multi-cloud strategy and whether the migration will be done in stages or all at once.
Data Preparation: We cleanse and prepare data for migration. Ensuring data security and compliance with regulations throughout the process.
Execution and Testing: We migrate applications and data according to the planned strategy then conduct thorough testing post-migration to ensure everything functions correctly and meets performance criteria.
Monitoring and Optimisation: After migration, we continuously monitor the system for any issues and optimise resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

WellbeingWellbeing
We are involved in a number of projects with a focus on social care, specifically in relation to people with special needs as a result of learning disabilities and in relation to the needs of the elderly. We are currently working with a consortium, including Brunel University, to look at ways to improve mobility in old age. We are also working with private investors to develop systems which will help elderly people to stay in their own homes for longer and avoid having to go into care.
