Users can extract their data from Microsoft 365 using built-in export, migration, and API tools provided by Microsoft:
End users can download their own data directly, such as emails (via Outlook export to PST), files from OneDrive and SharePoint (download or sync), and Teams chat files (stored in Exchange and SharePoint).
Administrators can perform full tenant data exports using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, eDiscovery (Standard/Premium), and Content Search, exporting data to standard formats (e.g. PST, ZIP).
Data can also be extracted programmatically using the Microsoft Graph API for supported workloads.

- The end of contract activities vary depending on the needs of the Buyer. This may include handing over the tenant management to another Microsoft partner.
