Onboarding and offboarding

Getting started
A bespoke training and professional services program is designed to help onboard new customers which includes training and initial consulting services. Training is generally conducted onsite by our UK services team, however at the customer's request and to be flexible we can present training as a live online web session.
Qlik also provides an online Continuous Classroom which provides registered users with training material including "How To" videos for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced.

End-of-contract process
The contract includes term license to use Qlik Data Integration software.
Support is included for the duration of the term. At the end of the term the customer can renew the agreement or stop using the service. If the service is terminated data will still reside on the customer's platform as no customer data is stored within the solution. However on termination all data replication tasks will stop. Offboarding is an easy process since no data is stored within the Qlik product so the customer simply stops using the software.

Description of customisation
Each installation is configured to the users requirement. Users normally purchase training to become familiar with the product and a few days professional services to help get started. Guidance on best practice is also imparted. Once trained the user interface allows the user to configure and customise tasks as required.
Users can configure source and target data repositories and what selection of data is required to be replicated. Filters can be applied to restrict the data being replicated. A comprehensive range of transformations can be applied to manipulate the data in transit.

The Qlik Data Integration platform has built-in monitoring and management capabilities for performance, throughput and highlights any issues. Security can be set to view only mode specifically to view this. In addition, alerts can be set to email service issues to relevant recipients. Notifications can be written to the Windows event logs which can be parsed by standard monitoring tools such as HP Openview, MS SCOM, BMC Patrol, etc. In addition, the analytics logs can be viewed in any BI tools of choice, including Qlik Sense.
