OpenText works with the customer in the planning, delivery and deployment phases of the project to confirm scope, training requirements, desired outcomes and ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget and of the expected quality. The Project Manager working with the buyer to match the project implementation with availability of resources at appropriate times in the project (e.g. during acceptance testing).
They will understand the service model, the migration from on premise to a cloud service and any technical implications for the buyer in connecting to the cloud service. This will prepare the customer for the implementation, data take on if applicable and switch on of the service.
This will provide confidence that:
• The project schedule, scope and objectives are clearly understood and communicated to relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth project initiation.

Professional Services helps buyers to set up a new or move between cloud services.
OpenText can provide services to scope, define and deliver an OpenText or 3rd Party Cloud hosted solution, leading the buyer through the process of service take on and transition. This can include the planning and execution of migrating from an existing service provider to OpenText whether this be through the transfer of data over an encrypted wireless transfer or secure transport of data on encrypted physical media.
OpenText Professional Services can configure the cloud system to customer requirements once the functional requirements are defined, documented and agreed. This would encompass such topics as upload/capture of content, integration to buyer systems whether on premise or themselves hosted by third parties, metadata models, classifications, workflow/case management, secure document signing, reporting and more.
OpenText can work with both the buyer and their System Integrator, delivery partner or existing service provider for a smooth transition to their desired cloud solution. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
-
Quality Assurance:
OpenText agrees a project governance and management model, methodology, testing program and post go-live approach before the start of any project.
Quality assurance is built in to the project methodology. OpenText provides its own software validation and unit test scripts which are run prior to handover of the system to the buyer for their Integration and Acceptance testing. OpenText can work with buyers to develop buyer test scripts using OpenText tools. These can be built around Buyer or OpenText designed test scenarios.
Performance Testing:
OpenText can provide options to support customer system performance under agreed loadings, buyer network and connection speeds. By using standard builds, OpenText are able to demonstrate real production (by other established customer) on similar solutions to buyers. This is often sufficient re-assurance for buyers. In a small percentage of cases, OpenText are contracted to specifically test performance for agree loadings using tools like Loadrunner.
