ERP projects are complex and can span multiple other departments. Through over 20 years of Oracle ERP delivery experience, we have developed a delivery approach and associated planning methodology which we tailor to the specifics of the client programme. This includes:
• Structured and mature delivery approach
• Plans that cover the breadth and depth of activity required to successfully deliver your programme plans
• Development models and metrics for the planning, duration, and costing of extra functionality through extensions, migrations, reporting and analytics
• Process design and delivery scope
• Instance setup and configuration models
• Test phase planning including Conference Room Pilot, UAT, Penetration, Performance, Non-Functional and Cutover

At an early stage, Encordia will engage with the client project team in order to determine if any training will be required later in the project. The Training Strategy is used to gain agreement from the client over what training is required and how it will be delivered. It is used where these have not already been covered in sufficient detail in the requirements. The scope of training can cover training for users, system administrators and technical support staff (usually when client technical staff are unfamiliar with the Cloud technologies being provided). It can be provided directly by the Encordia team or on the basis of train-the-trainer (usual for user training with a large user population). On larger projects a formal Training Needs Analysis (TNA) stage can be conducted. This consists of:
• Issuing questionnaires to the future trainees to understand existing skills and needs
• Analysis of the results
• Leading to decisions on most appropriate training methods
Alternatively, a more concise TNA stage can be conducted by meeting with client representatives and using their understanding of the likely skills of trainees to propose the training methods. - Training is tied to specific services

Encordia supports clients businesses and digital transformations from concept through design, delivery, and migration. Throughout this journey, realising value against the case for change is critical, we work closely with you to make necessary changes to your operating model, ways of working, ensuring successful delivery and a lasting capability to operate and support
Our Service includes implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud processes across the range of modules and migration from Cloud or on-premise solutions. As well as shifting processing to the Cloud (or between cloud services) we provide data migration services.
Through years of migration delivery we have developed a templated approach for data objects across Finance, Procurement, Project Accounting, HR and Payroll. This approach accelerates stakeholder engagement, reduces data scope and definition effort and time and compresses the time and effort needed on requirements and analysis. Our approach significantly reduces migration time and cost, placing emphasis on quality, migrating only the data required.
Our automated extract tools migrate the data from existing systems, map accordingly and produce the upload data for Oracle Fusion Cloud in the correct format. Our extract tools are flexible, reducing configuration needed to cope with Flexfields or any customisations within the ERP system. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Fighting climate change
We recognise the urgent need to address climate change and acknowledge our responsibility to minimise Encordia's environmental impact. As a consultancy organisation based in the UK, we are committed to taking proactive measures to mitigate climate change and promote sustainability in our operations and client engagements. Sustainable Transportation: Company vehicles provided by Encordia are electric vehicles only and we encourage the use of low-emission vehicles for all travel. We support the government’s Cycle to Work scheme and provide company pool bicycles where appropriate. We see this as an excellent opportunity to create discussion, debate and ownership of environmental impact within our business, and further into our society and day-to-day lives. Waste Management: We minimise waste generation by adopting sustainable procurement practices, reducing paper use to an absolute minimum and promoting digitalisation and electronic communication. We have implemented recycling programs for paper, plastics, glass, and other recyclable materials and encourage our employees to participate actively in waste reduction initiatives in our offices and at their home offices. Monitoring and Review: We regularly monitor and evaluate our environmental performance, track progress towards our climate change goals, and review this policy periodically to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Feedback from employees, clients, and other stakeholders are solicited and considered in the ongoing improvement of our climate change initiatives.Tackling economic inequality
Creating opportunities for those within a deprived area, or those who face barriers to employment: Our coding bootcamp scholarships focus on supporting individuals who are from socio-economic or diverse backgrounds into a career in software development and technology. The coding bootcamps are in Norwich, Cambridge, Hull and Liverpool and are through a partner company, Tech Educators Ltd. Tech Educators actively work with DWP and local councils to secure those from deprived areas who are interested in a career in software development and technology to achieve a future in software development. Creating new skills in a high growth industry with mass skills shortages: Encordia is committed to the Tech Educators model of taking individuals from a position of being ready to work building the necessary tech skills ready to work in industry, to a place of ready to contribute. This means having the skills required to deliver outcomes and impact within the organisation where they work. For Encordia, this means we have a close relationship with recent graduates of the coding and software development bootcamps. Interviewing graduates that will be a good fit culturally and the work we are delivering in line with the contract, and other projects we undertake. In this ready to work, ready to contribute model, we support new entrants to the industry with a job receiving above the national living wage, and support with training, learning and adoption of new skills relevant to have an impact in the industry.Equal opportunity
Reduce the disability employment gap: We support individuals from a neurodiverse background into a career in coding. This is achieved both through our current employee pool, as well as through the scholarships we offer.
Tackling workforce inequality: At Encordia, we are incredibly proud of the level of representation of diversity throughout our organisation. We have strong representation at all levels of individuals from the BAME community as well as excellent gender representation within senior positions within the organisation. Encordia is committed to ensuring that we provide a diversity of thought and culture as the organisation continues to grow.
Anti-discrimination: We will not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or victimisation of any kind against employees, clients, or service users. Employees who believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or victimisation are actively encouraged to report their concerns promptly. Reports are treated confidentially and investigated impartially. Our responsibilities: All employees have a responsibility to treat each other, clients, and service users with dignity and respect and to uphold the principles of equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace. Managers and supervisors have a particular responsibility to ensure that their decisions and actions promote equal opportunities and that any concerns or complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.Wellbeing
We are committed to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees. We recognise that our people are our most valuable asset, and their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing is paramount to their success and happiness. All of our staff are offered company funded private medical care as part of their employment package, including specific coverage for mental healh support and advice. Our team are versed in recognising warning signs and supporting individuals who may be at risk or vulnerable, and we provide 1 to 1 sessions on a regular basis with our Director of HR to each employee. We encourage work-life balance and flexibility through policies such as flexible working hours, remote work options, and paid time off for self-care. To create a culture of wellbeing, we promote a culture where seeking support for mental health concerns is encouraged and normalised, and where employees feel safe to share their experiences without fear of stigma or discrimination. We celebrate successes and achievements, both personal and professional, and recognise the importance of taking time to recharge and rejuvenate. We regularly assess the effectiveness of our wellbeing initiatives and make adjustments as needed to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our staff.
