• How the setup or migration service works: Our Power BI training remains consistent whether it's conducted on-premise or in the cloud. ; ; Typically, our implementation of a Power BI reporting suite will replace an existing on-premise Excel reporting suite. Since Power BI is cloud-based, reports are rendered in a browser. To facilitate this, we must transfer the data being reported on to the cloud. This involves extracting data from source systems and storing it in an intermediate cloud-based database, such as Microsoft Azure, making the data accessible for consumption by Power BI. Utilising a cloud-based database or warehouse is considered best practice. However, it is also possible to move data directly to Power BI in the cloud, especially if the customer's source systems are already cloud-based.

This includes all the controls around moving data, using for instance Power Automate, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and creation of databases and data warehouses when necessary to feed the reporting suite.
