Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
Zynk provides a 2-business-day response SLA for support requests. This means our team will acknowledge and begin reviewing eligible support tickets within two working days.
While we aim to resolve issues as efficiently as possible, we do not guarantee a completion or resolution timeframe, as this can vary depending on the complexity of the request, third-party dependencies, and system-specific factors. - Approach to resilience
-
Zynk’s platform is designed to be highly resilient, ensuring reliable service availability and continuity for our customers.
Our infrastructure is hosted within DigitalOcean’s cloud data centres, which provide enterprise-grade resilience, redundancy, and security. These facilities use:
Multiple power sources and backup generators
Redundant networking and connectivity
High-availability hardware
Physical security controls
Geographic redundancy
Full details of our data centre architecture are available on request.
Platform Resilience
Zynk’s application is built using Docker containerisation, allowing services to run in isolated, portable, and recoverable environments. This enables:
Rapid recovery in the event of service disruption
Consistent deployments across environments
Reduced risk of single-point failures
We use both horizontal and vertical scaling to maintain performance and availability:
Horizontal scaling allows additional containers or services to be deployed automatically during high demand.
Vertical scaling allows resources (CPU, memory, storage) to be increased as required.
This ensures the platform can handle increased workloads without degradation in performance.
Fault Tolerance & Recovery
Our architecture is designed to minimise service disruption through:
Automated monitoring and alerting
Redundant services
Isolated workloads
Regular maintenance and updates
Secure backups and recovery processes
If an individual component fails, services can be redeployed quickly with minimal impact to users. - Outage reporting

Zynk Cloud is protected by two-factor authentication (2FA), ensuring an additional layer of security beyond standard login credentials.
Support access is also restricted:
Only the named, authorised representative for each customer account is permitted to raise support requests or discuss account-specific information with the Zynk support team.
These controls ensure that both system access and support interactions are limited to verified and approved users only. - Access restriction testing frequency

Information Security Policies & Processes
Zynk operates a formal Information Security Management System (ISMS) certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Our policies and processes are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data and systems.
We maintain documented policies covering information security, access control, incident management, risk management, business continuity, data protection, supplier security, and secure development. These policies are reviewed regularly and updated in line with risk assessments, audits, and regulatory requirements.
Information security governance is led by senior management, with defined roles and responsibilities across the business. Security incidents are reported through a formal escalation process and reviewed by the ISO 27001 management team.
Compliance is ensured through mandatory staff training, role-based access controls, internal audits, continuous monitoring, and regular management reviews. All employees and contractors are required to follow our security policies as part of their employment and access agreements.
As part of our ISO 27001 certification, we operate a continuous improvement process that includes ongoing risk assessments, audit reviews, corrective actions, and policy updates to ensure our controls remain effective against evolving threats. - Software Security Code of Practice
