Fighting climate change
Inoapps is committed to reducing our carbon footprint through a series of strategic initiatives:
1. Promoting Carbon Neutral Travel: By offering enhanced benefits such as the Cycle to Work scheme, Inoapps encourages staff to reduce their carbon footprint. Currently, 20% of our staff actively participate in the scheme.
2. Offsetting Carbon – We travel using Travel Perk, who transparently report on our carbon emissions and help offset these emissions by investing in projects that remove/prevent an equivalent amount of carbon from entering the atmosphere.
3. Ecovadis – Inoapps are Ecovadis Silver certified, this ranks us in the top 15% for our commitment to sustainability out of those on the platform.
4. Remote Working – Inoapps actively encourage remote working. To support this Inoapps has invested in secure digital communications facilities to reduce the need to travel for business and encouraged the continuation of home working.
5. Recycling and Waste Reduction: All end-of-life equipment, is recycled rather than sent to landfills, minimising waste. Significant investment has also been made into the equipment that is currently in use to replace older models with more energy efficient options.
6. Sourcing Sustainable Premises: Relocating our London office to a shared service has led to substantial energy savings by reducing both energy consumption and travel requirements. We are also looking to consolidate our Scottish offices into one central office this year to further these benefits.
7. Supporting Customer Sustainability Goals: Inoapps develops solutions and products to help customers comply with sustainability and corporate social responsibility legislation.
8. Utilising Green Cloud Storage: Partnering with Oracle's Green Cloud Operations, we utilise sustainable cloud services and work towards reselling these services to our customers, further promoting sustainability in our operations.
Through these initiatives, Inoapps not only reduces our own environmental impact but also influences stakeholders towards sustainable practices.Covid-19 recovery
Inoapps have actively contributed to the recovery efforts of individuals, organisations, and businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a company operating in a high-growth sector, we are committed to giving back to our communities and supporting those in need. Our initiatives have been diverse and impactful:
We have addressed the pressing need for employment opportunities by offering jobs to individuals who have faced unemployment due to the pandemic. These opportunities not only provide vital income but also contribute to the broader economic recovery by reinvigorating the workforce.
Inoapps leveraged our expertise by providing pro-bono consulting services for community projects and initiatives. By offering our skills and resources, we assist organisations and businesses in navigating the challenges posed by COVID-19, facilitating their recovery and resilience.
Recognising the importance of public health measures, we have offered Oracle Health and Safety solutions free of charge for contact tracing purposes. This contribution aids in controlling the spread of the virus and supports communities in managing the ongoing impacts of the pandemic.
Furthermore, we have prioritised the wellbeing of our employees by enhancing our employee care packages to include comprehensive mental health care services. We understand the importance of mental health support, especially during challenging times, and are committed to ensuring our employees have access to the resources they need.
Lastly, we have implemented strict protocols to enforce safe working space use, empowering all workers to feel safe when returning to our offices. By prioritising health and safety measures, we create a supportive and secure environment for our employees to thrive.
