Fighting climate change

Thymometrics Limited is a climate-positive (negative carbon emissions) organisation and plans to remain so. As part of this, we will:
- Ensure that wherever possible we use goods and services provided by other climate-positive companies
- Attempt to minimise environmental impact from purchases and premises, and minimise our use of energy resources, business travel and commuting. Where travel is unavoidable, our policy is to use the most environmentally responsible means feasible for the journey
- Try to minimise waste and to recycle wherever possible.

Covid-19 recovery

Thymometrics is committed to supporting society's recovery from and resistance to Covid-19. We are committed to the following measures: - Supporting our own employees by encouraging Covid-safe working practices, providing unlimited recovery time and offering a paced return to work in cases of Covid-19 - Offering substantial discounts on our products to NHS organisations - Providing, through our products, tools to enable employers to engage with their employees on the subject of Covid-19 prevention and management (amongst other topics), to facilitate safe return to work and sensitively handle employee concerns over physical and mental health.

Tackling economic inequality

As a growing SME, Thymometrics has already created both jobs and work for contractors, and plans to continue so doing. We are committed to the following:
- Providing full job-related training where needed to our own staff and contractors
- Making all our jobs capable of being carried out remotely, which removes barriers to employing those in deprived areas, and those unable to travel to an office.
- Ensuring our products (designed to enhance other organisations' performance) continue to be innovative and disruptive while remaining cyber-secure (see our separate Security Policy for further details).

Equal opportunity

Thymometrics has a separate Equality Policy, the contents of which cover equality of opportunity with specific references both to ensuring minority groups are treated fairly and equitably, and to preventing inequality within Thymometrics. These include statements on: - Equality and diversity. - Recruitment and selection. - Performance management. - Equality and pay. The Equality Policy is reviewed regularly and is kept up to date with respect to legislation. In addition, Thymometrics' permanent policy of permitting full-time flexible-hours home working is aimed in part at levelling the playing field when it comes to disabled people.

Thymometrics' raison d'être is the wellbeing of employees. It is our policy to provide employers with the means to discover how the wellbeing of their employees could be enhanced, by improving communications with them and by acquiring their feedback.
