Description of customisation
Our solution allows users to customise which Due Diligence surveys are required on each construction or property project. This includes services such as asbestos survey, utility survey, ecology survey and so on.

How? When users upload their sites onto our platform they will be recommended which Due Diligence surveys apply to that site based on the information they have provided. They then have the option to easily select or de-select additional surveys that they may or may not need. Also users can tweak the survey scope of services if required by contacting the RenKap team.

Customer environments are logically segregated to prevent users and customers from accessing resources not assigned to them. Services which provide virtualized operational environments to customers (i.e. EC2) ensure that customers are segregated via security management processes/controls at the network and hypervisor level. AWS continuously monitors service usage to project infrastructure needs to support availability commitments/requirements. AWS maintains a capacity planning model to assess infrastructure usage and demands at least monthly, and usually more frequently. In addition, the AWS capacity planning model supports the planning of future demands to acquire and implement additional resources based upon current resources and forecasted requirements.

As a web based solution, our platform is available to be used 24/7 bar any unforeseen circumstances.

If one of our suppliers has not provided their works as per our agreed scope of service, RenKap will withhold funds until they make good the works and it is satisfied with the client. If RenKap are at fault for an error, we will recompense 10% of our fee and make good the situation at the earliest opportunity.

The RenKap platform has levelled the playing field for surveyors in the UK. before RenKap, large public sector clients would only work with the large multinational multidisciplinary consultancies to complete survey work.

This was because they were the ones who had the resources and expertise to pass the public sector procurement hurdles and because they had more resources to spend on marketing.

Via the RenKap platform, our specialist SME surveyors can now win work with large clients directly through the RenKap system. We market their services for them and we streamline the procurement process so that they complete their procurement paperwork once a year instead of on every single project.

This helps the growth of small business and help increase employment opportunities.

Additionally the RenKap system ensures that all surveyors are always paid on time for work completed. This is because clients have to commit to buying and paying for the surveyors services before we formally instruct the surveyors. RenKap then holds the funds and releases it to our surveyors within 28 days of completing their works.

Paying SME surveyors on time does not always happen in the sector and this is something that is very important to us in order to keep supporting SME businesses.
