The latest Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for Vyond is available for download, and was produced in April 2024 following the VPAT v2.5® International template format.

The scope and key user flows that were covered in the test:

Login page
Home page (Browse, search and download videos)
Your videos page (Browse, search and download videos)
Vyond Go page (Create a video)
Video page (Preview, edit and download videos)
Vyond Studio was not covered in the assessment.

All testing was conducted using an independent external auditor. Conformance to WCAG 2.1 A and AA accessibility standards was evaluated using a combination of automated analysis tools and manual testing along with assistive technologies by certified testers.

Vyond is always adding and improving features. And while we aim to keep our VPAT up-to-date, it’s not always immediately possible. This means our VPAT may temporarily reflect outdated, redesigned or redundant features. If you find an error or omission from our VPAT, please contact us using the above information.

Yes
User authentication

Other user authentication
Normally users are authenticated on a dedicated login page by email and password. Standalone users may also choose to use Google sign-in or Microsoft 365 login if desired. Corporate customers may also choose to enable SSO integration at additional cost which involves federated authentication by an identity provider supporting SAML 2.0 that supports email address as the attribute for user identity (we support both IdP and SP initiated modes).
Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
This follows the least privilege principle. Only personnel with a responsibility to support users or manage other aspects of operations are assigned access to them. All provisioning requests need to go through our internal access approval process with management approval, with training on their obligations as required.
Access restriction testing frequency
At least every 6 months

Information security policies and processes
To protect information from a wide range of threats and vulnerabilities, and in order to ensure business continuity, minimize business risk, and maximize return on investments and business opportunities, Vyond
has established an Information Security Management System (“ISMS”) that follows a Plan-Do-Check-Act continual improvement framework as specified in the ISO 27001 international standard.
Software Security Code of Practice
Yes

Operational security

Configuration and change management standard
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Configuration and change management approach
All changes to IT infrastructure, applications, or environmental facilities are scheduled, coordinated, and approved by management before implementation. System owners assess impacts and approve or decline requests. Changes are tested in separate environments, with emergency changes strictly controlled and documented. Post-implementation reviews are conducted for every change to ensure success and compliance.
Vulnerability management type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Vulnerability management approach
Security vulnerability alerts and patch information are monitored by the Information Security Officer. Upon receiving alerts, vulnerabilities are assessed for risk and priority. Patches are tested for compatibility, then deployed following the Change Management Procedure. If patching is not feasible, compensating controls are implemented. Annual vulnerability scans are performed to detect and remediate issues. All actions and results are documented and reviewed to ensure ongoing protection and compliance.
Protective monitoring type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Protective monitoring approach
Event logs capturing user, administrator, and network activity are produced, retained, and regularly reviewed to detect unauthorised access or changes. Logs are securely protected against tampering and unauthorised access. System or network alerts are enabled to notify administrators of suspicious activity, especially on systems processing personal data. Third-party systems are evaluated for logging capabilities, and documented reasons are required if logging is absent. All monitoring actions follow established log management guidelines.
Incident management type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example, CSA CCM v4.0 or ISO/IEC 27035:2011 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Incident management approach
All potential or actual security incidents and data breaches must be reported immediately to the Information Security Officer via the defined privacy programme. Incidents are documented, assessed for impact and risk, and investigated. For breaches involving personal data, risk assessments are conducted and notifications are made to relevant authorities within 72 hours if required. Incident details, actions taken, and outcomes are recorded and retained for at least one year. Procedures ensure consistent handling, communication, and mitigation of incidents.
