Customisable elements include document templates, distribution rules, clinical coding outputs, and mapping of structured data into local EPR or PAS fields. Organisations can also configure user roles, access permissions, and preferred note formats.
Customisation is completed during implementation in partnership with Prescribe Digital, who adjust templates, data mappings, and workflow logic according to buyer requirements.
Administrators within the buyer organisation can customise user settings, template selections, and approval pathways through the AISA interface, while deeper configuration—such as integration mappings or HL7/FHIR data rules—is performed only by Prescribe Digital’s technical team to maintain system safety and compliance.

Scaling

Independence of resources
AISA/Amplify+ is hosted in Microsoft Azure using a scalable, load-balanced architecture that automatically allocates resources based on demand. Each organisation’s data is securely segregated within the multi-tenant cloud environment, ensuring workloads do not impact other customers. Azure auto-scaling, redundant compute pools, and distributed processing prevent performance degradation during periods of high usage. Resource isolation, network segmentation, and strict access controls maintain separation between tenants. Continuous monitoring ensures sufficient capacity is available, with additional compute automatically provisioned when thresholds are reached. This guarantees consistent performance regardless of demand from other users.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
AISA® / Amplify+® is delivered as a cloud-based service hosted in Microsoft Azure UK regions and is covered by a 99.9% service availability SLA. The service supports a Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of up to 15 minutes and a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of under 1 hour. These commitments are defined in the standard SLA and are available to buyers on request.
Approach to resilience
AISA is hosted within Microsoft Azure UK data centres, inheriting Azure’s built-in resilience, redundancy and fault-tolerance features. The platform benefits from multi-zone replication, load balancing, automated scaling, and continuous service health monitoring. Azure’s infrastructure provides independent power, cooling and networking, ensuring continuity if a single component or zone experiences failure.

Application components are deployed using modern cloud-native architectures, enabling rapid recovery, isolation of faults, and seamless rollouts of updates without service interruption. Prescribe Digital performs structured testing, proactive monitoring, and controlled maintenance processes to maintain reliability.

Further datacentre-level resilience details are available on request.
Outage reporting
AISA uses Microsoft Azure’s service-health monitoring to detect outages and performance degradation. Any service disruption is communicated to subscribed customers through email alerts issued by Prescribe Digital or VoicePower. Azure-level incidents are additionally visible via Microsoft’s public service-status dashboard.

Major incidents or planned maintenance notifications are sent proactively to customers, with follow-up reports where required. An API is not currently used for outage notifications.

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
VoicePower follows a structured configuration and change management process for all AISA deployments. All service components, licence allocations, and configuration settings are documented and tracked for the duration of each customer contract. Changes requested by buyers are reviewed for operational and security impact before implementation and must follow Prescribe Digital’s approved change processes. Core application updates, security patches, and feature enhancements are managed centrally by Prescribe Digital and released only after testing in controlled environments. VoicePower communicates relevant changes to customers and updates local configuration records accordingly.
Vulnerability management type
Supplier-defined controls
Vulnerability management approach
Vulnerability management for AISA is led by Prescribe Digital, who operate a continuous threat-monitoring programme across the platform and hosting infrastructure. Potential threats are identified through automated vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, vendor security advisories, and intelligence from Microsoft Azure’s security services. Security patches and critical updates are prioritised and deployed by Prescribe Digital as soon as validated, typically within established internal SLAs. VoicePower monitors supplier notifications, assesses any customer-specific impact, and communicates relevant updates or required actions to buyers. VoicePower does not apply patches directly but ensures customers remain informed and supported throughout the process.
Protective monitoring type
Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach
AISA is monitored continuously through automated security tooling, SIEM alerts, and Azure platform monitoring to identify unusual activity, performance anomalies, or potential compromises. When a potential issue is detected, the system generates alerts that are triaged by Prescribe Digital’s security team. Confirmed incidents trigger predefined response workflows including containment, mitigation, and customer notification where required. VoicePower escalates any customer-reported concerns immediately to the vendor. High-severity issues are addressed rapidly, typically within hours, depending on impact and risk, ensuring service integrity and patient safety are maintained.
Incident management type
