We typically limit resource provision to standard working hours, but can accommodate out of hours work with notice. Our preference is for remote service, which allows us to use technology effectively, and often leads to quicker turnaround times and increased productivity. While we're flexible with on-site demands, we encourage remote service for its convenience and to encourage environmentally friendly behaviours, However, we recognise that face to face engagement has benefits, particularly for building working relationships, delivering training, key governance meetings and design / workshops. We therefore maintain flexibility and where there is an agreed need, we can provide onsite resources

Fighting climate change

Pragmatics3D recognises that the delivery of its operations impacts on the environment in a number of ways such as the generation of waste and the use of energy for heating and lighting. Through commitment to continuous environmental improvement, Pragmatics3D aim is to ensure that its business operations are undertaken in such a manner to have minimum impact on the environment. Pragmatics3D is currently a tenant of The University of Lincoln and operates from its premises in the Enterprise Building. The University is certified to ISO14001 for environmental management and ISO50001 for energy management and is committed to minimisation or operating energy consumption and scope 2 & 3 emissions including the Sparkhouse building. To that end, Pragmatics3D is not directly responsible for energy consumption in rented accommodation however, Pragmatics3D is aware of its own responsibilities in terms of environmental improvement and has produced its own Sustainability Policy to run alongside that of The University. Pragmatics3D encourages its employees to act sustainably by providing staff with stainless steel reusable water bottles and removing the need for single use cups for hot drinks by providing mugs in the office. Waste generation is minimised by removing individual waste bins and encouraging the use of centralised waste, composting, and recycling bins. Staff are aware of reducing energy consumption in the office by ensuring lights and heating/air con are switched off when leaving a room, PCs and monitors are turned off when not in the office. Staff also have access to electric vehicle charging points on site at Enterprise Building. Pragmatics3D ensure we are engaging with suppliers who share a commitment to sustainable practices. And we provide extensive training internally and to our clients to ensure optimum usage of technologies that not only improve efficiency but also contribute to ensuring achievements of net zero targets.
