Gravitas provides consultancy services to Higher Education organisations to support with the development and implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions. This includes database/data warehouse design/architecture, data modelling requirements and producing business intelligence reports and dashboards (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview) across all major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), as well as data quality, governance and analysis services related to statutory reporting.
As part of this service, we can provide consultants with strong strategy, design and Business Analysis skills who can facilitate the planning of these project. This includes data mapping, modelling, database design, data architecture, refinements of reporting/dashboarding requirements and continuous stakeholder engagement to ensure the solution aligns to business needs. In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years t0 118.7 tCO2e by 2027. This is a reduction of 20%
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2022 baseline.
The carbon emission reduction achieved by these and
other schemes will be confirmed in our 23/24 report.
• All waste generated is recycled where possible to reduce landfill
• Introduction of virtual meeting platform to ensure meetings can be conducted without the need for / minimising business travel
• Increased home working for teams – reducing emissions caused by commuting to work
• Car sharing and use of public transport is encouraged for travel.
• Use of online resources and Docusign instead of printed materials wherever possible
• Promotion of salary sacrifice measures such as cycle to work schemes
In the future we hope to implement further measures to reduce energy usage through measures such as:
