- End-of-contract data extraction
-
Talenscio provides a clear and secure process for data extraction at the end of any contract. The system enables organisations to retrieve their information in full, including candidate details, assessment outcomes, video interview records, and platform activity.
Authorised users can export data directly from the admin portal. They can choose the data sets they need, from detailed reports to aggregated analytics. Talenscio supports multiple export formats such as CSV, PDF, and Excel, making it easy to archive information or transfer it into other systems.
Throughout the process, the Talenscio support team is on hand to help with specific requests or guidance on managing more complex sets of data. All exports follow relevant data protection requirements, ensuring candidate and user information remains protected at every stage.
Once the organisation confirms that all required data has been retrieved, Talenscio securely deletes the remaining information from its servers in line with its data retention and privacy policies. This ensures that data continues to be handled responsibly even after the contract has ended. - End-of-contract process
-
Talenscio follows a clear, secure, and fully supported process when a customer contract comes to an end. The team notifies the customer ahead of the contract expiry to allow time for renewal discussions or planning a smooth transition away from the platform.
If a customer chooses not to renew, Talenscio provides detailed support to help them extract all required data in a safe and orderly way. This includes guidance on downloading candidate information, assessment results, interview records, reports, and analytics. Where needed, the team can support additional development work to produce data in non-standard formats, which may incur extra fees.
Once the customer confirms that all necessary data has been retrieved, Talenscio begins the decommissioning stage. The account is deactivated and all data is permanently removed from the platform using advanced sanitisation methods that meet stringent industry standards. This ensures that no information remains accessible and that all obligations under data protection regulations are met.
All standard activities related to account closure and data deletion are included within the contract cost, reflecting Talenscio’s commitment to a secure and transparent offboarding experience. - Documentation accessibility standard

- Description of service interface
- Talenscio provides a single unified web application for video interviewing. Candidates, assessors, and administrators access the same browser-based platform, with visibility and functionality determined by role and permission settings. Candidates complete one-way or live video interviews through a guided interface. Assessors review and score responses within a structured evaluation area. Administrators configure interview templates, manage users, and oversee activity through the management view. No software installation is required. API endpoints are available for controlled integration with third-party systems such as ATS platforms.
- Accessibility standards
- WCAG 2.2 AA
- Accessibility testing
- Talenscio has not yet carried out formal interface testing with users of assistive technologies. However, the platform has undergone an independent expert accessibility audit conducted by a specialist web accessibility provider. The audit identified priority improvements and provided a remediation roadmap. During H1 2026 Talenscio will work directly with the accessibility auditor to implement the recommended changes, validate them, and establish an ongoing accessibility assurance process. This work is intended to strengthen compliance with WCAG 2.2 and support a broader range of assistive technology users.

Customisation is carried out through the platform’s administrative interface, with changes applied per role, vacancy or campaign. Branding elements such as logos, colours and candidate instructions can be adjusted to align with organisational requirements.
Customisation is performed by authorised users, typically recruiters or hiring managers, using role based permissions to control access and prevent unauthorised changes.
Scaling
- Independence of resources
- Talenscio runs on a scalable cloud infrastructure designed to stay reliable even when demand spikes. Multiple load balanced servers adjust automatically as user activity increases, so teams get a consistent experience without slowdowns. The platform is monitored around the clock, with performance data reviewed in real time to spot issues early and keep everything running smoothly. Regular updates and maintenance ensure the system stays fast, stable, and ready to support high volumes whenever needed.

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
Talenscio is designed to run twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, with a minimum monthly uptime target of 99.5%. Planned maintenance is kept to a minimum and, wherever possible, scheduled outside core business hours with advance notice.
If emergency maintenance is required, Talenscio will aim to provide notice when work takes place outside normal business hours, along with updates and, where practical, temporary workarounds.
If platform downtime prevents candidates from being assessed at the scheduled time, Talenscio will credit the affected candidate places. This applies where the assessment cannot be completed within a reasonable adjusted timeframe agreed with the customer. - Approach to resilience
-
Talenscio is built on highly resilient cloud infrastructure and follows best practice patterns for availability, security and business continuity.
Key elements include:
Multi zone architecture
Processing and data storage are distributed across multiple availability zones within the chosen region. This improves fault tolerance and limits the impact of any single zone failure.
Data replication and recovery
Core data is replicated and backed up regularly. Encrypted offsite backups allow full data recovery in the unlikely event of a serious incident affecting an entire region.
Business continuity and disaster recovery testing
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans are regularly tested and reviewed against defined Recovery Point Objectives and Recovery Time Objectives to ensure services can be restored quickly and effectively.
Security and protective monitoring
Talenscio employs protective controls including DDoS protection and Web Application Firewalls, together with platform monitoring and alerting. These measures help safeguard availability, performance and data security.
This combination of infrastructure design, backup strategy, recovery planning and security controls ensures that Talenscio remains resilient, secure and highly available, even during periods of unexpected disruption or increased demand. - Outage reporting
-
In the event of a service outage or significant service degradation:
Incidents are logged and managed by Talenscio’s support and Customer Success teams
Alerts are sent to nominated customer contacts for priority incidents (Email, SMS WhatApp or Teams depending on Client choice), including initial notification, updates and confirmation of resolution
Following resolution of any major incident, Talenscio can provide a summary of the root cause, actions taken and any planned improvements on request.

Potential compromises are identified through continuous server and application logging, system health monitoring and alerting for unusual or unauthorised activity. Alerts are reviewed by authorised personnel and assessed against defined incident criteria. Where a potential compromise is identified, affected services are investigated, contained and remediated, including isolation of systems if required. Incident response begins as soon as an alert is raised, with initial assessment and containment typically undertaken within hours, depending on severity.
