SPG will:
• Implement tools and scripts to analyse data quality, structure, and flow within current pipelines
• Build prototypes to test proposed changes in the data model, ensuring they deliver expected improvements without adverse impacts
• Define and implement DataOps principles tailored to the organisation
• Design and deliver a training program covering technical and operational aspects of the chosen data architecture and DataOps practices
• Establish SRE and Cloud Maintenance frameworks to ensure system reliability and cost-effectiveness
• Establish a set of practices, including version control for data models, automated testing, and deployment pipelines, supported by tooling
• Define SLOs (Service Level Objectives), SLIs (Service Level Indicators), and error budgets.
• Utilise infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Resource Manager templates for reproducible and consistent environment setups
• Establish a dashboard for real-time monitoring, set up a ticketing system for issue tracking, and define SLAs for incident response times
• Implement mechanisms for continuous feedback and performance monitoring
