We have implemented an apprenticeship scheme to sponsor university students to attain a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions as part of the Institute for Apprenticeships Digital and Technology Solutions Professional (ST0119).
Apprentices study towards a BSc degree over a four-year period, combining campus-based and work-based learning.
As part of the apprenticeship scheme, Infuse:
Provides a working environment that meets current health and safety legislation to enable the apprentices to work and learn safely
Supports the university to comply with funding rules and collate evidence to confirm ongoing apprentice and apprenticeship eligibility for funding
Ensures that the apprentice has time to complete the off the job learning elements which are required for their apprenticeship within the apprentice’s paid hours
Supports the apprentice to manage their own learning, and provide appropriate support and supervision in their typical working day
Enables the line manager to support and guide the apprentice to carry out their role and to meet the targets and timelines needed to complete the apprenticeship
Contributes to reviews with the apprentice and university, providing evidence and feedback on progress at work and success in meeting apprenticeship milestones
Agrees any changes needed to the learning plan supporting the apprentice to address performance or access enhanced learning opportunities
Participates in course feedback, impact assessment and evaluation to support the continuous improvement of the programme for apprentices and employers
