We assess, design and govern migration for cloud initiatives. We try to avoid big bang migrations, instead design staged migrations, risk assessed with detailed business continuity planning. We contribute in the following steps:
1. Assessment and Planning:
a) Evaluate current infrastructure, applications, and data and business process dependencies.
b) Define migration goals and success criteria, including resistance to change and possible bottlenecks.
c) Conduct a cost-benefit analysis.
d) Risk assessment and impact assessment, on business, people, and process.
