What the PCI DSS doesn’t cover
In scope is payment processing using the internet/e-commerce, MOTO / Call Centre. Novacroft do not store, process, or transmit cardholder data (CHD) directly, in turn relying on compliant third parties to transact all CHD payments on behalf of the merchants they serve. Novacroft host online e-commerce solutions that contain outsourced redirected payment components via compliant third-parties, Cybersource and PCI-PAL, utilising Secure Acceptance Checkout API in conjunction with Microform technologies to provide a cohesive PCI SAQ A embedded payment application within Novacroft’s e-commerce page, and PCIPAL’s Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) masking technology to suppress the telephone keypad tones entered by a customer, respectively, also providing a compliant PCI SAQ A MOTO solution. In both scenarios above, Novacroft are not exposed to CHD.
